Continuing with my Porsche Classic tribute, since the duck tail rear lid has a 3rd brake light, the original has to go….a little work with the cutoff wheel and a piece of 12ga steel welded back in, and we’re good. My temporary vinyl wrap comes in handy here for a quick completion…..the real repaint will come in this summer!

Just moved from California where only 91 octane was available, and current location premium is 93 octane. After a few tanks expected engine to recalibrate and advance timing, but acceleration feels the same.

Clif notes: they only felt the diffference in octane when going from 87 to 93 in a turbocharged vehicle. Still an interesting read.
Some Sunoco stations around me sell 94 octance. I always try to stop there. Can't feel any difference but it makes my head happy.

I normally don't like the Classic style Fuch wheels on modern cars, but it really works on yours and looks great !!!

Thanks, @Porschetech3 I think so too....they were specifically designed in '22 for the 1-off Classic Club Coupe, and those suckers were pricey, and took 4 months to get this summer through Suncoast.
An easy upgrade....the sunroof delete that came next was a bit more involved!

Ethanol has less energy and makes less power/mileage than pure gas, so pure gas will create a bit more power/mileage versus blended. The difference is pretty profound for E85, far less for E10 or E15. Never had the chance to compare E10 vs pure myself though.
