Bill, hey there, I just bought a 2006 Cayman S (my first Porsche) in Charlotte, NC that needs a new headliner. I saw you brought your Cayman S to a shop in Asheville and said they were inexpensive and super quick. Which shop in Asheville did you bring it to?

Bill just saw you were from Waynesville, I’m in Maggie summers so we should meet at some point. Don’t know if you know Paul with his track prepped 325. Picking up my 991 today or tomorrow.

My apologies for not responding to you. For some reason, I just saw your message. I'm not
sure which care you are talking about. The only one I've posted about, I think, was a 997 911S in Raleigh. Ultimately I did not follow through. I think I did post about the results. The PPI Tech said it was a good running, good handling car. My issues were (1) a lot of minor wear items (ball joints, AC compressor) that indicated a hard life in the DC area, and (2) the current owner appeared to not have time to use the car, but also did not do anything for it. For example, the coolant was 2 qts low in the 2016 PPI and was still 2 qts low. And the dirty cabin air filter was still dirty. So he didn't really pay much attention to the car. With all that said, it would have probably been a good car for a good price if I wanted a project. As is, I'm having a PPI done on an '06 911S in Chicago tomorrow. If all goes well, I'll go to Chicago next week and bring car back to NC.

Hi- saw this car also- spoke briefly w/ owner- did u buy it? It seemed a bit plain as mentioned but clean for an S- I have concerns about codes and other 'challenges' these motors have so I'm wondering your thought process on this car since we seem to be going down the same path. Any thoughts are appreciated! Todd- Augusta Ga area
