Got some upholstery work done to my seats and changed out the stock (ugly) shift **** with a 993 **** and had it done in white leather to go with the houndstooth

Got to take a beautiful drive on "the Silver Thread" in SW Colorado in my project '99 Classic Club Coupe tribute. Still need a few things to complete. Today we surgically removed the 3rd brake light panel, now just have to cut a nice, flat piect of .030
sheet metal, weld in and finish!

wow, where you been hiding this project. You are probably past this point but I think you can use the turbo brake light panel which doesn’t have a third brake light.

Was on a roll last night. I forgot to order new fuel injectors (blue pintile type) so project is stalled unless I try to run the “upgraded” EV-1 style white injectors- not sure how that will go with a stock DME tune.

Installed the missing plastic 'VIN window' in the frunk. This was something I never knew was supposed to even be there until peterp posted about replacing his last year. I kept forgetting to throw in with a dealer order until this week.
After watching a YouTube video, it only took a couple of hours to install.

I put 80 miles on the 99' C2 Cab last night after rebuilding the motor.
Had a spun crank bearing due to a incorrectly installed scavenge pump.
The cylinders were fine so I re-rung the pistons, cleaned everything and changed out several other wear items.
Will do some more testing and change the oil.
