Passed CA smog test after futzing around with a P1109 code for a while. I actually haven't gotten rid of the code, but in reading about codes and CEL's, it seems that if the code doesn't trigger the CEL, it's considered a 'soft' code and isn't considered a fail if all the monitors are ready and the CEL is off. Now I can procrastinate on getting rid of the code for another 2 years!
Does that sound right? Oh, also, the code is not seen by my OBD2 reader, but is seen by Durametric.

After months spent replacing the full suspension: All control arms, subframe bushings, all four wheel bearings, drop links, Feal 441+ coilovers, etc....
I finally got an alignment yesterday and took it for a drive. It's beautiful.
I put the ride height just barely under ROW Sport height (137mm front, 152mm rear).
The final alignment was exactly at the desired spec. They got it perfect.
BTW. Took it to Graham Rahal Performance in Indianapolis. They did a great job and were super professional. I got to chat with the Tech for a bit and look under the car together, that was nice. It's a first class shop, and probably a bit overkill for an alignment, but I don't trust most mechanic shops (too many experiences with impact guns and general half-assery.), and I wanted to know it was done right.
At first my baby was a little self conscious:
But she ended up next to a Corvette, where she felt better.

I think Savannah was the only 996 C2. Lots of air cooled and newer models. The Hurricane region PCA was a sponsor and there were some beauties.
This 2018? 991 GT3 was fresh from the track, with rubber still adhered to the bumper and frunk. Guards Red?
1958 Speedster? I overheard some talk that it was a million$ car. Yikes. Nowhere near as fast as mine tho. Haha. How about that stance tho?
Lovely
Signal Orange? This was a full on race car. Braaaap!
Getting some Monterey car week vibes from this. You know what I mean....

After much waiting since the pattern was out of stock, new coco mats! The color combination is great for my car, IMHO.
