Frank's Accurate Auto Body in Slidell LA. It's a fantastic family run body shop that really takes pride in thier quality of work and customer service. They really went above and beyond to help me. They also happen to be the only Porsche Certified body shop in LA.

Sure, I have no problem sharing. I don't think it will affect anything. The insurance company is GEICO and I have been very surprised by the issues I have been having with them. My dad has had all of his insurance through GEICO for 30+ years and has had great service from them. My body shop works with them regularly and was also surprised by the way I was treated and the issue I have had. I was never rude to any of the GEICO people, so that wasn't why. It started off bad right off the bat with them screwing up filing the initial claim and that alone took me over an hour on the phone to get fixed. This by no means would have solved my issues, but it would have helped some. If you ever get hit by someone with GEICO, and likely other large insurance companies too, they assign you an adjuster who lives in the area the policy holder lives not where you live or the accident took place. So my adjuster was in Georgia and I am in Louisiana. In the future I will always request a local adjuster right from the start.

By the way the other cars were parked the wrong direction.

It has been a very interesting experience. The accident was 100% the other drivers fault and they admitted that to the insurance company, but the insurance company has been refusing to pay the actual cost to fix my car and was constantly trying to pull my rental car. I have spent well over 20 hours on the phone with them over the last 3 weeks and we are still fighting over payment. I got my insurance company involved now and may need to get a lawyer. The body shop on the other hand was incredible. Fantastic work and one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had in my life.
Id like to get the body shop details from you as its good to have one in the back pocket hope i don't need it,, your car looks great and that's a very good color. Gary - Baton Rouge

Default Picked her up from my Indy

I have no garage, and some things I just feel better having a Pro do, and my Indy is wunderbar. Just posting to keep my anorak cred levels high.
  • New front and rear droplinks, TRW
  • Eibach anti-sway bar (26mm front and 22 MM rear) and swaybar bushings. they are a lot heavier than the stock ones, which are pretty limp. I noticed a difference immediately, even in city driving. It just feels 'better' and more responsive to steering. I have stock new B4 bilsteins and the stock off-road ride height on 17s w no plans to change. She's a comfy GT.
  • 4 wheel alignment with the fancy thing in his shop. What a machine...Electronic, castor, camber and toe in. I did not ask and he did not tell. I assume, being how he knows my driving style and it's usage, it is aligned to factory spec for road use and low wear. Good.
  • Oil change (6 months) Motul 8100 x-cess 5w/40 Gen 2 (sadly no more Gen 1), new oil filter ( I had a UOA done at 500 miles on the last oil, and engine is healthy, no metals or plastics, everything within spec of Motul's add pkg). I had my guy add one bottle of Ceratec, Don't judge, it's my car. He also ripped open the filter, clean as a whistle.
  • crazy strong neodyn magnetic oil sump plug, for next time.
  • Transmission oil change. I had no svc history so at least now I know it is fresh. Indy reported only minor metal stuck to the magnet, perfectly normal
  • new fuel filter. Same story as tranny oil.
  • Powerflex manual transmission bushings installed, finally, had them a while. The trans and engine mounts are new, and at the very least the purple powerflex will protect the trans mount. My shifting is already fairly smooth, FF shiftright thing is installed, w new cable ends at the shifter, that I did myself. I'm planning on having him replacing the ends of the Transmission cable at a later date, it's on 'the list'. They must be very tired.
  • New ebay $149 special double outlet exhaust tips, chrome. They look awesome
It's dark n rainy here, perfect car wash weather, but what I really want to do is drive it. Gotta go.

Default Titan roll bar

Got some scaffolding in today, quite pleased. Awaiting schroth profi

I can feel a measureable difference just driving through town in the chassis. Its stiffer. It was worth it just for that. But mainly got it for harnesses.

Changed the oil... warmed it up to get as much of the old stuff out before switching to VR1... I like the way it sounds.
