Been super busy but over the last few days I got her inspected and deep cleaned the interior after evicted the mice that had taken up residence in the car.
The first time I saw yellow headlights was in France in 1986.
It was weird seeing them in the city(Strasbourg) at night.
I wonder if they would even be legal here in Texas.
I doubt they would.

Even in France yellow lights are illegal now on any car produced after 1993
Apart from the charm and nostalgia factor (that would work only in France I guess), it has zero advantage over the white ones (apart from not blinding the other drivers)...
Figured this did not need its own thread. When I was cleaning out my car the other day I found this cable. Didn't see anything jump out at me but there isn't much room under the seat. This was the passenger seat.
Poured a wee bit of water into the open sunroof at the 4 corners and observed the correct drippage from the corresponding drain locations behind each wheel. Cleaned out the under hood drains.
tried out a fresh battery in my fob. Still no remote action. But, I did learn that if you don't use your remote for 5 days, it disables itself to save the battery. Insert your key into door lock, unlock, and leave the key in. Press the lock / unlock button to wake up the fob remote. Or, it is supposed to. They key I got with my car seems to only unlock doors and start the ignition. But it has to be coded to the car, or ignition would not work right? I'll keep looking into it. Getting my new brass, already cut, and fob coded next week by my local Indy. I'll see what he says. My Indy is massively skilled and freaking awesome. Yeah he's expensive but, you get what you pay for. Porsche Center Wilmington, when I called them to ask about servicing / drilling the broken off 4 manifold header bolts, just out of curiosity and trying to be a careful consumer, said, we can't do that kind of work. But we can sell you a new block... When I asked for their rec on where to go, they recommended, you guessed it, my Indy. Said he's highly recommended by everyone in town. I have to agree. He's a lifesaver.
Drove the car to porsche north Houston. This is a premier dealership with no cars to sell. Many cars, I actually had to park in the overflow parking the McLaren dealership. Put the for sale sign in it. A few interested parties already. Finally when I got home was surprise by the odometer mileage. Had an awesome day. Lot of money at the meet huge amount of gt3 and newer cars 2020 and newer. Shark blue is an awesome color. Just a random picture, parking lot was full. I spent quite a bit of time talking to people that were interested in my car. Surprise surprise look at odometer mileage . As it is sitting on my driveway

I was underneath my passenger seat as well and came across this plug, can anyone tell me its purpose? Thx.

This is a total guess, but maybe the Porsche factory pre-wired for heated seats if you don’t have them (or non-heated replacement seats in a heated seat option car?)
