I replaced the plugs and coil packs in my new to me '99 C2 today. I'm also replacing the original mufflers with something that will hopefully be a bit more... aurally entertaining so I had them out of the way and that made access to the coil packs a lot easier. It still wasn't a walk in the park getting numbers one and four out and replaced but it sure was a lot easier than if the mufflers were still in place. Those of you who have replaced the coil packs with the mufflers still in the car get huge props for your wrenching prowess from me because I'm pretty sure I could not have done that and I do the desmo valve adjustments on my Ducati's. I'm waiting for some new stainless hardware to mount the new mufflers and I need to do an oil change while I've got it up on jack stands but I should have it finished up pretty quickly and back on the road. Great car.
I have a set of those headlights as well. Had them since early this year, and I'm already seeing micro cracks in one of the lights (looks like "crazing" as seen in porcelain)
Time to see if the warranty is any good.
Other than that, once led's are put in, they work great.

Reason: shpelling
Went to my mechanics place. Got my passenger side window to work properly. Previously they put in a new part, but it was set up for a boxster. So it wouldn’t go down all the way. My guy fixed it. Then we took out the front wheels, front bumper cleaned the radiators and he also installed a new resistor on the drivers side front fan. Super cool to find out my wheels actually have a 993 part number. I have seen a 98 993 that had a 4/98 production date. Had a blast, plus I. Grilled some angus steaks and sausage, beers 🍻 music. Got to drive my car 120 miles, Awesome day. Got them cleaned pretty good. Awesome job cleaning the rads and condensers. I also used a chemical foam spray. 993 part number. As always some cold beer. Playing some rock roll. A friends 99 convertible that had a bunch of work done including skips UAOS.

Was Justin able to fix your non-cancelling turn signals?

we did not got to work on that one. Got to meet Jose he is a nice guy. Man he did a ton of work to his car. He said he will probably go to the cars and coffee at Kingbierhaus. Jose got the gundo hack done and it sounds pretty good. Let me know about that x pipe.
Good job on the radiators. Taking things apart and separating them is the only proper way to clean them. Sticking a vacuum in the bumper is just a waste of time.
Gurney flap painted and installed. I'm not pumped with the small gap due to the thickness of the 3M tape (which does have a thin layer of foam). The Porsche technical bulletin for dealers for the dealer inatalls specifies a cement, but I couldn't source it even with the part number.
The paint isn't perfect, but I didn't expect it to be. The color is close, but it's not as smooth as I'd like. For a prime/coat/clearcoat job with aerosol in my garage, though, I'm quite happy.
I spent an inordinate amount of time looking at other examples and then centering and trueing up to the edge of the wing. In that process, I discovered my "Carerra" badge isn't centered, which will bother me to no end now.
