Nordschleife Master
Got a half a$$ bath for cars and coffee tomor. Although i used the turtle wax brand bug and tar remover amd it was like magic for the 6 track days of tire marble streaks. A couple spots took 2 applications but man it looks a lot better with minimal effort.

Would be better if the car number was 69 instead of 609 though. You should work on that.

Found a solution 2year issue…yay!
I’m getting ready to defend year end crown with first concours of year …Bring It!
I was cleaning light housing and thinking about why are these side marker and parking(part of brake dual) still don’t work. I grabbed my borescope that was so handy when changing power steering pump and started poking in some usually inaccessible areas. I just read a forum write up about how this enthusiast found RODENT damage just shy of rear fire wall where grommet is for harness. Look at what I discovered. Some rat went to town on these wires. I had looked in this hole previously but with a naked eye. But boy did this rat have a field day. My car sat for several months in storage over winter 2 years and from the foam it looks like I had a boarder.
…okay so from the Bentley Bible it shows some slack in this harness after going through the wall . It may be enough to pull it out and repair otherwise removal of coolant reservoir and air pump will expose and give room to work. Next project …..
I have a perfectly working headlight switch for sale at half retail $90 plus ship…LMK. Don’t think rat is here but will put out traps…lots of neighbors cats hang around tho…hmmm
Creepy
Wonder if there is some slack in the harness to pull through this wall…
Here is my note when I first looked months ago with naked eye but big Ted circle is where damage is
I bet that rat **** copper and plastic for days…hope so..haha
