What did you do to your 996 today?

I've had on for years, almost always on the green setting. In a nutshell it accelerates the rate the throttle butterfly opens making the motor respond to throttle inputs quicker. Liken it to automatic handicap doors, no matter how fast you push the button the door takes 10 second to full open, with the SB you can cut that down to 5 seconds on green or 2.5 on red.

This past Sunday I installed my Feal Coil overs. Only had time to do the fronts. Nice improvement over stock.

I have had mine for about a year. Really like the instant throttle response. Will never go back. Transforms the car IMO.

A panel under the front. Hey, I don't know who did it! Probably my wife! That figures. It couldn't have been me! Maybe the mechanic didn't reattach it correctly. Nah, probably the Russians, they are invading you know, probably will start with stealth damage to 911s. Ok, ok, more honestly: daily driver - nuf said.

^^^ Ouch... Repair? Or time for a new one? This fiber filled plastic stuff is a pain to repair - I've done it a few times, but it's difficult and usually winds up cracking/breaking again (doesn't last very long either). Fortunately that piece isn't prohibitively expensive
I just finished my first 4k mi. oil change on my FSI 3.8 Stage II motor (Driven GT1 15w-40)... Ready for the Snowflake Rally next week!

^^^+1 I agree that part is cheap for Porscheland. Shop around the part number with some Google fu. Several vendors have the piece for $70ish, but some gouge on shipping.
