Hi!
First post on RL Made the rear spoiler switch mod following the https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-relocate.html guide on my 2002 996.2 cab. A bit scary cutting the wires but everything worked. A bit tricky since the guide is on a right hand side car and mine is a left hand side and some of the connections are different.

Installed my new Llyod Northridge Floor Mats for the winter. Wanted to go with the Porsche design ones, but they don't fit Cabs with the Bose subwoofer. Overall they fit pretty well with minor trimming at the back to fit around the seat rails. The anchors can be a bit challenging to snap together.

I finally took it for a good hard test drive.
It handles so much better now with the rollbar.(RSS 901/30)
The chassis is a lot stiffer!

Cruisin'
It was sold new in Germany then exported to Italy before it was imported to Sweden in 2012. Common in Europe that nice cars are sold to other countries. I got it in August 2019 and it makes me smile every day allthough it is garaged for the winter. 109500 km (68000 mi), updated IMS and RMS, no piston slapping or oil consumption yet

Installed the Function First Shift-Right Solution to my factory short shifter. What an improvement!!! This shifts so much better now. The sloppiness of the shifter is eliminated. Great mod, should be this way from the factory!

Swapped summer tires for Blizzak WS-90s. Side note - My 72yr old mom drove a ‘12 911 year round in MN for 3yrs. My hero.
Replaced headlight bulb on my 99. Very slick Porsche headlight housing design - whole unit just slides out like a lego. Love these cars.

First trip under the car using my new Quick Jack
Diagnosed a loose left front CV joint, removed all belly pans and cleaned under them (there was fur) and installed the Function First transmission inserts. Next up is the F1st motor mounts.
love the Quick Jack; just feels great to work under the car at that height and very easy to use.
Will post a separate question about the CV joint.

I added some fluorescent lights to my garage.
They will help detailing and DIY work.
I added the two middle ones. The ones nearest the door get covered when the door is open. Now I‘ll have adequate lighting when the door is up, and overwhelming when it is closed.
