They have lots of parts that are OEM or OEM level. My 2 go to spots are Warehouse33 and RockAuto. There are many others, but these are the 2 I have had the most success with.

What do you need?

How about Rein engine mounts and thermostat, Pierburg waterpump, Mahle oil and fuel filters, Hastings air filter, Contitech drive belt kit, Delphi coils, Bosch spark plugs and a Remy re-man alternator?

BOOM!
Now go look at their website for all your 996 needs, the Google parts and compare prices...Some things can be bought on Amazon for less when you factor in shipping costs for me.

Yes - Amazon has good deals too. It's true! And if you are a Prime member, you get free shipping on most everything you order. I usually compare prices at many places (Auto Atlanta, Pelican, Paragon, Rock Auto, Amazon, etc.). For basics, Amazon and Rock Auto usually win. Special parts - that I need to look-up in the PET usually need to come from Auto Atlanta, Pelican or other specialty parts suppliers - but not always. Amazon has surprised me several times.

If there's a lesson here: Get the PET (at the Porsche website) and find the part number you need and then do a google search on that number. Lots of options out there.

This was Saturday actually, but close enough. We had a local PCA outing to K&M Collision in Hickory, NC, one of the few Porsche certified collision repair facilities in the state. About 85 miles away and well worth the trip. The place is cleaner than my living room and workmanship is absolutely impeccable.
Anyway, weather was bad for the trip but I had the irresistible urge to drive my car. On the way, I discovered my odo was about to display all sixes. Hope that’s not a bad sign. Anyway, I quickly whipped out my phone and Captured the moment..

Also, I was thrilled when @carlvs took some cool pics of my car in the fog. This one’s my favorite. Thanks buddy!

Ofcourse, a few cool cars in the shop I can only dream about owning.
GT3 RS with mostly underbody damage

GT4 with only a few thousand miles on it with structural damage around the door frame. Purchased at a salvage auction.

RockAuto was the cheapest for Bosch factory O2 sensors. (I replaced all 4 when I installed my Fabspeed x-pipe)
Also they were the cheapest for Bosch MAF Sensor.
I also got my engine mounts from RockAuto.

If you need new Bosch fuel injectors go to Warehouse33.

I buy lots from RockAuto, but mostly for client cars.

Replaced bad pressure sending unit. Between reading here and on renntech that was a super easy job. Used a crows foot wrench with a universal and a long extension. Fortunately, I have small forearms, so it was super easy to unplug the wires from the top.

Replaced the gear oil in the 6MT. I'm thinking it might have never been changed...
