Is that the trick? Got any before and after shots? I need to do this too.
You need a plastic trim tool to scrape the larger chunks of foam adhesive but it's mostly the Goof Off. I plan to ceramic coat the wheels to see how well it works for brake dust.
I bought it! 99 C2, 59k miles. First Porsche; picked it up from a family member who hadn't been driving it too much in the past year (back issues). Had its major service in late 2018, oil change about 3 months (and very few miles) ago. Replaced the flat-spotted tires and am having a blast with it so far.

Beautiful car! Just like mine minus the wheels and interior color, and rear wiper.
The hvac fan in my 2004 C4S has been whining for quite a while. I looked at the 101 projects book, easy Wayne says:-). Of course that was on a no glovebox 99 car. I finally figured out how to remove the glove box and eventually got it back together.
