Looks nice! Where did you get the GT3 bumper? Did you have it professionally painted?

I got it here in the classifieds - yes I had it professionally painted, but need to take it back off and have it re-done. I didn't notice when putting it on that there are a couple thin spots where the primer shows through the base color. The lighting in my shop is horrible and when I got out last night it was almost dark - today in the sunlight it's pretty obvious...

Test fitted this service cover for the front seat.

It's made of the same material as the regular engine service cover.

Did an AOS test using the tapped oil cap method. After I did the test I was searching around Rennlist and saw that everyone else using this type of manometer had the hose on the left port whereas I used the right side port.

This is the reading at idle with a cold engine. From what I've read, this is just a tad high. I'll check it again using the other port on the manometer. The 'instructions' that came with it are hilariously bad.

I'll also check it with my old school version.

After all that grueling work, I took it for a nice drive.
Apparently there's a concert at the stadium next month. I can't keep up with all these new bands the kids are listening to.

Are those bypass pipes on your car ? They look similar to mine which is why they jumped out at me.

Looks very nice. Was that from dharn55?

No, not from Dharn - there was another guy that had bought 4 or 5 of them a few years ago, and had sold all but this one. It had been sitting around for a while and the primer was in really bad shape - flaking off in places and sanded through in others, but I got it for really good price so it was a worthwhile gamble.

Killed the battery by leaving the headlights on overnight. Took the opportunity to install a CTEK tender. The wire harness that comes with the charger is pretty short. They make a longer one that I'll eventually install so that I can plug the car in without removing the plastic battery cover. I couldn't find a ground post nearby the battery, so I just used the battery's negative post for now. When I install the longer cable I'll try to find a more suitable place to attach the negative/ground.

On my 02 I plug in the tender to the cigarette lighter power port. It does not turn off with the ignition so it’s easy to connect and disonnect. If your CTEK did not come with this adapter they sell it as an option.

Did the car not notify you audibly that lights were on when you removed the key? Not criticizing just making sure its not something that can be disabled

Was tired of looking at rusty rotor hats. The Rustoleum I used 10,000 miles ago didn't hold up. This time I used epoxy caliper paint

Replaced passenger sun visor mirror housing, small thing but so satisfying to know that it works now and looks better as well.

Old system did not had the foldable cover, so the light did not work.

It just looks better like this!

And it works!

I had to replace both of mine when I got my cab. Seems if one isn't careful, closing the cab top can break off the covers if left open. The PO wasn't careful......
