I really can’t believe this has devolved into this type of BS and I for one appreciate the insight provided by @Silversurfer6. This isn’t some nuclear or war strategy/clandestine secret where lives are at stake so ease up! Just enthisiastic car people trying to figure out what’s going on. If info proves to be incorrect (which I doubt), then we all had fun on the thread. No animals harmed in the making of this thread!

Now as much as I think there is a probability of the information you have shared being accurate, the probability of HOW you got this info (i.e above post) doesn’t seem above 0.
You have been posting about this 540hp since February. There is no customer or sales person who had this info 4 months before unveil unless he/she had inside access to PAG. You may not be the person with direct access maybe you truly have a friend who is that person (in which case you are absolutely playing with another person’s job - would he approve of you doing this?), but what you just posted is not believable at all.
And you are in Germany? Really? Germans use dollars? You seem to be very accustomed to $200k sale price of 911s that are unique to US and know the price point of these cars. A German or an American living there would speak in EUR. Plus your grammar and overall tone/construction of your sentences really sound like you are from US. Germans who speak english dont really form these sentences you do. The punctuation, sarcasm, etc dont add up.
And as of this post its almost 3am in Germany and you are posting to rennlist? That doesnt sound right and if you are really in Germany (maybe an American in Germany), you should try to get some sleep. None of what gets posted here is worth being up at 3am.

200k is the price of a gts in europe also. Not sure how are trying to deduce a nationality from a price.
Honestly I am not an American, but I do not think it is worth expanding. As mentioned before I live in Germany and in the UK.

Who said otherwise? I have not seen one post here that was not a speculation about the weight gain - we simoly do not know.
And just to be frank. Stop trying to regionalize your wrong posts and disbeliefs with the new weight metric, your problem is the bhp figure.
Your problem was from the beginning with the 541bhp figure. Nobody has said that the weight was staying the same - it is a hybrid for god’s sake, weight will increase.

I’m not sure what to call a car with a 400V battery electric turbo. It’s not really a full hybrid since it can’t propel itself on electric only and it’s not a mild hybrid since it will be nothing like that and doesn’t use a lower 48V system. Maybe just e-turbo hybrid makes sense. This is all very interesting.

I’m not a lawyer but breaching an NDA and posting extremely confidential information isnt something they would take lightly.
I have been following rennlist since 997.1 days and I dont ever remember as specific leaks as he posted down to the power figures, trim levels, manual option in a Turbo etc. As I said, he may not be penalized harshly but at least may loose access to such information in the future. Because either he is just making **** up OR he is spot on 100%. If he is spot on 100%, he must have confidential access that even dealer principals dont have (or didnt have until a month ago). My GM went to stuttgart to see the prototype but wasnt told any of this info he posted here.
