From some angles it looks pretty good. Like always I'm confident it will grow on most people over time to be preferred vs visuals of the .1 cars.
New upgrade headlights look great to me.
Standard circle design headlights I'm not a fan of.
I really like the extra dimension on the sides of the front/rear bumpers. As a relatively new 992.1 owner I can admit that to my eye this is a great looking car.
Two excerpts from the C&D article that I think will define the conversation between 992.1 and .2 cars:
"The single turbocharger is a Borg-Warner unit with a 27-hp electric motor sandwiched between the compressor and exhaust sides of the turbo. This motor greatly reduces turbo lag at low revs. For example, at 2000 rpm with a closed throttle, the old GTS required over three seconds to achieve full boost when the throttle was floored, while the new GTS does it in slightly less than one second—and that's while achieving considerably higher pressure."
"But the most impressive change might be in general street driving. Porsche says that when you floor the throttle from a dead stop, the new GTS covers 70.5 feet in the first two and a half seconds, compared to 47.6 feet for the old GTS. That astonishing improvement reflects the improved throttle response and should translate into great street performance."
Covering that much extra ground in 2.5 seconds is going to dramatically change the feel of these cars on the street (talking GTS vs GTS obviously). again... my "skin in the game" is to root for the .1 car that I own but I think the .2 hybrid powertrain is going to be quite fun to drive.... albeit no manual so us 3 pedal folk can still rest with our .1 cars

I don't disagree, but the .1 GTS is already almost too much for the street. I do like the new rear bumper (a lot). I just can't buy a car that runs out of juice when driving hard and you have to wait for it to recharge. How will folks track the .2 GTS?
This is a freaking joke from Porsche.. Selling customers "air" nowadays (or in this case paint)...
Yupe.
Basically Porsche charging $4.890 (SD kit cost) to paint body colored on the pieces that already on the car. I am sure all of this will safe cost and reduce manufacturing time as well.
For 992.2 you could go with standard body kit and have your favorite body shop paint the same pieces
