"The air conditioning compressor is now driven by a 400-volt motor via the high-voltage hybrid circuit, and the water pump has been moved inside the engine and driven by an extension of the oil pumps"

Yeah... everyone will need those extended warranty and CPO for long term ownership.

Here's to hoping one of them has the GT4 4 liter, anyway.
M Engineering sells Stage 2 tunes for 992.1S and 992.1 GTS with MT’s. Per M Engineering, the factory OEM dry clutch on the 992.1 with MT is good up to 660 ft. Lbs. torque. I know because I sent them a e mail and asked that exact question. The Sports Classic was built on the TT platform which has 572 hp and 553 ft. Lb. Torque. The TTS platform has 640 hp and 590 ft. Lb. Torque. If a 992.2 TT is ultimately offered RWD with MT, offering a special edition Sport Classic on the TT platform to test the market will be Porsche marketing genius and greatly increase demand for the TT vehicle.

The main bumper is pretty much the same
(standard vs. SD kit vs GTS), but after playing around I think the new body kit with angular shape grows on me.

I like it best with just the SD front and the SD side skit, and leave the back black just like GTS color-scheme.

You have to see the 360 3D View as it show photo quality rendering: 911 Carrera | Porsche Car Configurator.

What do you think ?

Yes…..And The starter and generator are now also internal to the PDK. Hope you don’t need a new starter, generator or water pump.

Not bad but just seems a bit busy w/ the two vented spots on the SD front. I prefer it a little more muted but it’s still not bad.

+1 on HUD display even if it were an option. My Toyota Camry has it and it is great. I much prefer the analog tach……but at least the digital tach is configurable.

I am disappointed, but not at all surprised, that the Matrix lights are still disabled for the US market. I blame NHTSA more than Porsche and I know there are options to activate it, but it is sad to see new models being announced that still disable that technology.

totally agree about HUD. Now would have been the perfect time to add a HUD option. Porsche makes more money and gets our eyes up and off of an all digital dash.

afaik HUD is not doable for 992 generation due to dash/windscreen combination being under certain angle that makes it impossible for hud to be displayed. Not sure if true though, heard from one of the reps at Porsche.

As someone also mentioned above, Porsche also manipulates the sound to improve the exhaust note.

It's not easy to read and note every little detail covered in 150+ pages but I did in fact read every single page in this thread. This is actually the only Rennlist thread that I follow closely every single day but I must have missed the news about the T (note that I'm looking for actual news, not rumors). So far I only read rumors about S and T being available later next year but haven't seen any official statement from Porsche.

I haven't seen any speculation about the CXS. Do we think it's coming with the 3.0l tuned to produce the same output of the 991.1 GTS (473hp) or the 3.6l (which, according to Car and Driver, puts out 478hp) and a mild-hybrid system?

I would assume it's going to use the base engine with a higher tune; if they were going to do a mild hybrid 3.6L set up, would make no sense why it wouldn't be ready for announcement now (imo)
