The T-hybrid was mainly done to continue to offer ice performance with quicker response but importantly to comply with more stringent emissions standards not just idle and slow loops but through higher performance range where current offerings aren't so clean running. So it's not just all about power and torque improvements.

I just saw the new car on the configurator and the front and rear treatments look much improved to my eye, both in sport fascia and non. Significantly better design I think.
I also can no longer access my build code for a 2024 T order.

I still have to get used to adding the 'dot one' to my 992. For the last 2 years I've simply owned '992's'.

I don't think anyone probably knows that because there wasn't a US specific press release or announcement or spec sheet. It's kind of hard to tell what I'm looking at here in the engine photo cut away but it kind of looks like the cats coming immediately off of the turbo straight into a muffler type system that appears to have some sort of OPF type material?

Does anyone know when we will start seeing more reviews of the car and driving experience? It seems like there is still an embargo on that🥲

...And here is a professional design analysis. Pretty much corroborates the consensus of this forum....

I think the button honestly makes more sense.
The fake key thing was a little silly. It wasn't terribly ergonomic and didn't really make a lot of logical sense as a starter other than referencing the fact that it used to be a key that was inserted. I guess I understand how some would prefer the tactility of the fake key switch, but in most cases I don't like fake anything. If you get rid of the key, then don't give me a pretend key. That's one reason I really don't like skeuomorphic "fake analog" digital dials.
The key point is to have L sided starter and they retained that.

I could do without the standard RAS. Interesting article on the new engine. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a6...ngine-details/

Not happening as the automotive press is not going to Spain to drive them until late June. The press embargo will not expire for another 2 to 3 months after that.
My source = Spike’s Car Radio, more specifically Jonny Lieberman with Motor Trend whom has been invited via Porsche to attend the event.

I've put "simple" bolt on mods on all my cars. I don't think I would even think about touching this 3.6 with a single mod. Between the nuances of transmission and the elimination of the serpentine belt, and the integration of the exhaust components, seems much more complicated. And I wouldn't trust a "simple" exhaust mod, not getting blamed, if something goes wrong down the line. And in year one or two, something will be going wrong in these cars. Just teething. Hell, the 991.2 water pump took like 4 years to figure out! Now you can't even see the water pump...
