Just watching that video over and over. I can't help but feel for the guy, look how excited he is when he's shoulder checking then looking down to put it in Sport + and turn off PASM
Usually it's the corvette guys that do that!

The same as most meets these days, bunch of kids waiting at the exit with cameras rolling, egging people on...

Once the car entered the roadway and all the weight shifted to the back left tire, his future was determined

Pretty sure his future was determined when he left the womb...

Before anyone gets their seat belts twisted... I am just lucky to have been born earlier/pre-internet and did most of my stupid stuff before it becoming evidentiary world-wide and immediately. I now ensure I screw up way out in the middle of nowhere where only a cow or two are going to see....

Classic. Was that a mustang with a 911 skin? Bright idea to launch control while turning.

Same. I raced a Pontiac Trans Am at LA street races in high school and the first couple of years of college. I'm thankful it wasn't filmed and even more thankful that I'm alive to talk about it.

From the latest photos, it looks like those "fog lights", might actually be a temporary blinker solution until the 992.2 blinker design is finalized.

There's nothing to suggest an NA engine in the latest set of pictures.

Why are people thinking it’s going to have an N/A engine? Is there any evidence or just wishful thinking?

The last set of shots didn't show vertical slots on the engine cover. It looked like the GT3 cover which got folks excited.

I think there is zero chance of NA. Probably more chance of hybrid!

Re the light pods, the biggest bang for the buck in a facelift is usually a lighting change so my guess is it may have vertical daytime running lights.

Safe to say we're still about 2 months from when 2023 specs would be announced (if following prior years thing) so is it possible these are simply updates for the coming model year vs a full mid gen revision? It doesn't take a year to test sheet metal and plastic....

In addition to the double centered exhaust. Could be a Porsche head-fake, or the droll teutonic humor of the engineers. Or it’s a 4.0 for a ‘special’ version, in limited numbers, that everyone wants and nobody can have.

I can’t see them messing with the 4.0 engine just for a (notional) 992 Carrera T. It deviates from the parts bin ethos for maximum profit.

Or maybe they’ll surprise us all ?

.2 tends to have more different interior and mechanical bits. The central screen from the Taycan wil likely be there too.
Where has it been confirmed that the analog tach is gone?

Interior shots from the original article show a Taycan parts bin dash. No analog tach.
