992.2 Carrera spotted testing
Doesn't look like a massive departure from the 992 but here is the link and some good pictures of the changes.

Would you, sir, like to place a friendly wager on that?
I have about a million dollars burning a hole in my pocket that says you're wrong and the 992 T (if there is one) will be fitted with the same twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six-cylinder engine (aka 9A2 Evo) found in the rest of the 992 911 Carrera lineup.
I'll even give you 10:1 odds.
Deal?

- Exhausts have been moved more center like the 991.2
- Bumpers and intakes have changed
- Daytime running lights appear to be different
- Rear engine vents may be different
- Dashboard may be different too.

This was posted before I think - those fog/DRL lights cannot be real. And those new front grill slats don't look so great either.

Not that I’m even thinking of trading to the 992.2…as most of what I see is pretty cosmetic….the only meaningful change that I would want, for the interior, is a HUD. IMO, HUD is a sorely missing “must have” on a car of this caliber. Propulsion-wise, I’ll hold off until a hybrid version is released…it’s coming, for sure….I’m a patient man.

9Werks is reporting they have a source saying the car will be offered with an NA 4.0L. Unknown if it’ll be for all of the range (I would doubt that) or just a GTS but either way that sounds very interesting.

Some of the front/rear changes look more like taped-on cladding/camo than a finished product.

Doubtful. I think Porsche is committed to turbo, and eventually, hybrid 911’s.
It’s looking more likely that the 992.2 GT3 will be a turbo, and not NA.
https://www.motordiction.com/latest/...o-turbocharged
From Hans Lange, the GT lineup manager:
”Lange says, “It is highly likely that the GT3 will go through a major change during the facelift[992.2]. However, we can assure you that we listen very keenly to what our customers say, and engineers build these cars for their[customers’] dreams.” When we explicitly asked whether the GT3 will be turbocharged or even a hybrid, he only told us that “The GT lineup will be built as a straightforward driver’s car regardless of the technical changes. We will continue to adopt turbocharging and hybrid technology that we had gathered through years of experience on our roadgoing cars and the GT3 is no exception.
”Fears have arisen in the past that Porsche will go hybrid or turbocharge their GT3s someday, but this is the first time an insider has explicitly implied that ‘technical changes’ will happen and the cars ‘will continue to adopt turbocharging and hybrid technology’. This means only one thing; we don’t have much time left until the 4.0L flat-six in the GT3 will disappear into history. Still, there is some good news as well.”

A 911 GTS 4.0 would be my ideal car. I am somewhat skeptical that it will happen, but would definetly get in line for one if announced!
