Wanted to try yellow DRL covers for a while and when ordering, I got the black-out rear reflector covers too, which I really like as they clean up the rear. These will look great on your black car @ECNJ ! The wildcard was that I got red covers for the front side markers but they look awful and would likely get me pulled over. Trashed them and will probably get a set of lightly smoked just to darken the side markers a bit. I will take the car out later to see what these yellow DRL's look like but so far I like
Ha, u beat me to it again. May do something with air vent trim. Looking at carbon fiber parts. We’ll see. I’m very deliberate with mods…slow poke.
I'm feeling very MEH about the yellow DRL's, I think they are coming off Big fan of the rear reflector black-out though, it looks so clean.
I agree on the yellow covers. Why not just turn on your emergency lights and kill the flasher to make it static? Just messing. That looks better. I took a pic of my T with it on while flashing on….LoL
Just order it and put it on. Mine is being painted now and my dealer is installing it. I even had the little air dam diffusers painted lizard green to match my interior trim. The next owner can always put back on the traditional spoiler.
I will deff order it when I have the extra money, first I need to buy a set of rims and tires for winter then later a track set of Forgeline and Micheline tires then I will def get the Aero kit and paint it in ruby star
I’m originally from Cali but been in NY/NJ for past 20+ years. First experience driving in snow/ice was in Ithaca, NY where I spent 2 years in grad school. Snow u get there (upstate NY) is another level. Brought my 300zx twin turbo rear wheel drive to NY and was sliding all over campus. LoL. Was so much fun
That sounds like a blast, I live in Albuquerque, NM so we get snow sometimes, a lot of black Ice and freezing winters, always below 20 in the morning
The original 986 Boxster mid-engine 2.5 is cheap right now. Buy all you can find. They are a blast to drive wide open and it’s on rails. The 2.5 has a double-row IMS bearing and a very low failure rate. My girls got them both with less than 20k miles and paid 10k each. That was 5 years ago.
Exactly I got mine for 9,500, with the replaced IMS and RMS and its had not really any problems, I tracked it for a few days when I was starting out learning to track, had no issues as well, They are the best honestly. It had like 30k miles in it in 2018 it now has over 60k
"Bankers in cars, getting coffee"
356A, real or replica? In any case, driving an old, small NA with carburetors is an experience.
Regardless if it is a replica or real, its a piece of history still driving on the road, It is so cool to see at least 70% of all Porsches built are still drivable and road worthy and driving on the street

Ha, I was thinking the same thing. Real or fake? Don’t know enough about them to know for certain. Just know my friend’s is the real thing. He’s an industry guy and he wouldn’t lie about it. Love the curves on it ha, even if replica.
Yeah, bankers are addicted to coffee and love sports cars. Remember the countach in Wolf of Wall Street?

The replicas are very good and very hard to tell from original when done right. I’ve got a fake from JPS Motorsports. A real 57 speedster would be way too rare and expensive for me to drive.
If you ever get a chance to drive one of these take it. The 356 is the original rear engine Porsche and drives amazingly well.
The aero kit just really accents the car beautifully, (I still think they have similar body lines to the 996 gt3 which I grew up admiring, so seeing basically a facelift to that style is amazing) seriously put a 996 gt3 side picture next to a 992 with aero kit, its very similar and I wish I got the kit on my T
My old car - bought new in 2004
Felt like a rocket ship at the time but was 381 bhp - almost identical to my new T!
