Good morning everyone. I will talk to Brian this morning at our local coffee shop and get all the details for ordering. He may have a way to create a link for ordering or we may just have you email with your order. I will let you know by late morning what we are doing. My hope is that you can work directly with him so I don't mess up your order. I may throw it out there to have a bunch of us that want to order do so by a date so that he can just batch them and it makes it more efficient for him. He will look at the colors that are offered on the config. and try to get your color as close to what it looks like but it may not be perfect. Ruby star needs to not look like pink, etc. As mentioned in post it will also have PORSCHE on that back of the T shirt in small lettering just below the neckline in the same color grey that is in the 911Carrera T. After looking at the pictures it looks better in person. I will try to post a picture in direct sunlight I came home late from attending a 928 Club meeting. As a side note we are hosting the largest gathering of 928's (for the US) in Columbus, Ohio and if its ok will post a few pictures next week after he event. I am in a few other Porsche groups its fun to own some different models and the 912 and 928 guys are a lot of fun. Many of them work on their cars and kind of reminds me of us back in the 90's and early 2000's working on our 964's and G models. I love watching you guys do modifications yourself I think that is what adds to the Porsche experience.

Hope u feel better. Indeed on the exhaust. Sounds like u had a lot of fun. The green monster looks awesome on the track!

The car is amazing on track. It has grip forever. The Goodyears did well, especially once I actually paid attention to tire pressure.

Next adventure: getting it back to my cleanliness standards!

Nothing like running up through the Esses!! What was your favorite turn? I would put esses first then turn 5 out of the Bus Stop. Turn 10 without touching the brakes was very exhilarating as well.

I kept it in Sport mode the entire time too to keep things safe and me off the "blue bushes." The track is 52' wide everywhere except one place so lot more room than you'd expect to utilize. Like you I never heard the car tires squeal, never felt brakes fading, never felt a slightest hint of under/oversteer and the TC never came on for me either. Glad you enjoyed "my track" Adam!

The rest of that monster track just scares the bageepers out of me! LOL. But the 911 has grip FOREVER! My tires never squealed, the traction control light never came on no matter what I did, and I did some less than good things. I guess the RAS helps - it would have been nice to swap cars with that white 911T for a lap to compare with and w/out RAS. All I know is that no matter how much throttle I gave it from the apex on, the car just went, no fuss, no muss, no worries about losing grip. My Cayman would not let me do that.

I kept the car in Sport for maximum nannies. And like I said, I certainly did not push the car hard being that this was my first time both in this car and at this track, plus I'm just an intermediate driver. I go out to learn to be a better, safer driver, explore the car's upper end, safely, and have fun. As they say at DE days: There are no winners in DE, only losers!

I have a new found respect for the 911.
Early in my search for the next Porsche, someone who has driven Porsches all his life and knows his stuff better than this Porschephile hack said to me that there are cars that hit you over the head immediately like most GT cars and then there are cars that are more of a slow burn and grow on you over the long term. To him, the T is a slow burn car and it's what he recommended I seriously consider. He's largely responsible for my T purchase.

Your journey with your Cayman and your T reminds me of that conversation.

I'm casually shopping for a used Cayman with PDK that I can drive to tracks, run, then drive home. I've got a great friend who has a race Cayman, a GT4 and a Cup Car he imported from Europe and "Scotty" says the Cayman is by far the easiest car to drive fast on the track. He ran a Winston Cup team for years and has close to 50K miles at the Glen so I have a tendency to believe him.

The 911 was easy to drive fast.

I’d get a shirt as well. I searched “teepublic.com” and there was a dearth of good 911 shirts, maybe he should get it on there, I think they are just a platform that sells other peoples’ art (shirts).

Thanks duktail
Yes I am in for a shirt but you will have to advise UK postage rates from the USA?
Maybe this might not be possible look forward to your advise?
Or you could mail it to my daughter who is going to Wisconsin in August that's a good idea.
Yep that should work out fine.

I'm in the UK and keen on a T Shirt too.. that colour scheme is a nice match for my T. My parents / brother are in the US if postage is a problem.
On the subject of T shirts there's some Porsche magazine ones in a few designs fairly cheap here in the UK https://www.debenhams.com/product/pe...olour=Charcoal
I got a grey one and also splurged on a very overpriced Team Ikuzawa T shirt https://teamikuzawa.shop/ ...
This guy also does some cool stuff https://vivabastardo.com/
