Of course, but I really don't like that version of it. The "25th Anniversary"...yuck. And when you think it was Pagani who designed the exterior. The 5000 QV, or even the original "non flared wheel arches" LP400, look a lot better.
Regarding the 356, you can tell them apart from inside (the "pedal box" is more square in the real thing) or by "feeling it up" - the real ones are wearing "metal", replicas are dressed in fiberglass. Etc. Not important. The air cooled engine sound must have been intoxicating.
I used to go to Stuttgart, to attend the "sound nights" at the Porsche museum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3uPqyh9VRk
While I patiently waited the 6 weeks from arrival at our Benecia Port until PECLA delivery last week, I've enjoyed seeing pics of your deliveries, reading about your time spent enjoying your cars, Toph's ED experience, etc.... mine is FINALLY home and I'm already in love!
Delivery Experience was amazing so well worth the 6 week wait! They let the little lady and I split the 90 mins track time (she took 30, I went 60 of course). The hardest part about the entire trip was leaving the car parked at the hotel the following day while we went to Disneyland Took the longer, scenic route via 1, to 101, to 154 through Los Padres National Forest and stopped at Pismo Beach for some quarts of our favorite clam chowder (Splash Cafe) on our way back to the Bay Area. Car goes in for PPF next week! Brought a roll of Trak Armour to PECLA and spent about 45 minutes wrapping the front of the car once the delivery experience was over. Horrible job but it served its purpose and man, do I have a new found respect for PPF installers.
I don't know man,...I would have hugged the car instead, after all that wait. But good that you got your priorities clear
That angle and lighting makes the T's rear look amazing. The green too.
From the Bay Area is only a short drive to Highway 1. I like to drive north, all the way up to Pacifica and start the roadtrip from there, down south. Last one was in 2022, driving a rental Cooper JCW, to Indian Wells, for the tennis tournament.
We gotta meet at Ross Dock Park and get a 2'fer T shot
Ha, I almost missed this post. This place is hoppin since u returned.
I was there yesterday. I’m up for it….as u know. Trying to get the other T guy living 10 minutes away from me to join. But I think he’s way too busy. Surprised if he shows up on 9/10.
Won’t say his name since he failed to get the side T decal (don’t let @Barkat03 know….he ex- something…exterminates (was it?) folks without it). But…..*hint, hint*. He calls his T a Storm Trooper LoL.
Now we’re gonna start hitting a bunch of Porsche models. Currently on page 914. Hurry folks post ur pics of your former/present Porsha 914s.
@Uhu U know the fuel injection on this 914s were horrible so everyone replaced them with Weber carbs and they struggle to pass emissions (especially in CA). But, u probably already knew that
Also, on the same track, but in dry and driven by Sutcliffe, the G82 M4 Competition does a 43:70 (1s quicker than the 992 Carrera, at 44:70) and the 718 GT4 a 43:90.
GT3 Touring vs Carrera T (991.2), at Modena.
1.03,0 min vs 1.01,4 min
M4 is a serios car. Too bad it's so heavy. I keep thinking that the 7.2GT3, the 981GT4 and the 992T will be evenly matched. A T on twisty mountain roads will keep up with a 991GT3 for sure.

Haha! Soy yo. I'm ready. School's almost out, so the kid has got me biz ee.
Weekends are tough (unless early morning), but I can carve out time during the weekday for lunch and a drive.
Ross Dock Park for a 3'fer T shot!
I forget where I got the Storm Trooper term from, was it you @ECNJ ?

Finally. Came to your senses. I’ll send PMs to you guys. For NJ, Friday lunch or early weekend / breakfast works for me.
Question: what is a good T-like daily? I have and love my T but I need to replace my daily driver and I don’t want to use the T so often quite yet. What do you think is a comparable daily driver? The closest I can think of are the Honda Civic Type R and Acura Integra Type S twins.
ordered a 4 to replace my 2013 c4s daily. T is for the weekend. Pdk awd every day is the way to go
Congrats on ur T! Was at PECLA 75th Anniversary cars & coffee last week. What a great place to visit.
Thank you! Nice! We just missed it unfortunately. Heard it was quite the event.
We had to settle for the Le Mans watch party (Saturday the 10th) and C & C (Sunday the 11th) at our local dealership in the Bay Area. Some special stuff around but I'm sure nothing like what you got to see at PECLA.

Drove the G82 M4 Competition during a 3 day "HPDE" with BMW on Nordschleife. The seats are AMAZING, somewhere between the Sport Plus and the Lightweight buckets from Porsche. The rear locking diff is at prescient level. Despite running on PS4S, it had more traction than my M3 CS on Cup2s.
But, it felt heavy, the gearbox was on the "slow" side and all that I was thinking was "this feels and drives like an M5...", way tamer than the F80 CS. Not to mention less sound, the more playful chassis in the CS and the much quicker DCT. Driving home, I was happy that I kept my CS.
I would say the 981 GT4 despite sounding better and being a little more "alive" than the 718 GT4, it is also slower (castrated by the very long gears).
You can replace the 981 with the 718 above, and I will agree with you.
