In my 996 I was able to fit a lot on the rear seats with them up. Black plastic containers from Home Depot fit perfectly in the seats. By the looks of the pictures, I would think the same would be true (or better) without the seats. Then flat duffle bags on top. But with buckets, yea, I guess that ain't happening! lol No seats is still cool IMO.

Note if you opt for the buckets, they won't allow you to put the rear seats back.

Thanks for the comments/tips guys, no LWBS for me but I will be tracking it/no cage. I was looking to optimize luggage space bc "someone" can't seem to pack light for our annual 5 day trip to Saratoga for the Travers Race.

I was actually quite surprised how much I can carry in the car using the frunk and rear seats.

This was my 996 Aero at a DE day. All that stuff behind my car was IN my car that morning, plus more (helmet and related clothing). Those black plastic tubs fit perfectly on my rear seats. The big blue plastic tub fit perfectly into the frunk. The folding chairs fit nicely behind the rear seats under the window. And I had plenty of room left if I would have needed more luggage.

Does the modern 911 still have that storage area behind the rear seats?

Current build preference:

Love the lizard green contrast against the black.

I had buckets in my last T and as mentioned above it makes it very difficult to get anything into the rear section. I'm actually seriously considering getting the regular 4 ways with T package as having a folding seat with plenty of rear access sounds pretty amazing. Just hoping that in the final form of the configurator, we will still be able to order rear seat delete with 4 ways...

This makes a lot of sense and here lies the beauty with the T. An "affordable" model that can be an outright track spec vs. touring spec. Personally, I would option this with the comfort seats and drive it across the country.

Sad news. SA just called and advised no PTS on this allocation of T's. Still waiting on bucket availability.

Can't Say im all that surprised... Sounds like PTS really pushes the time table back for delivery, and with the short runway they gave themselves, they don't want to risk the first allocations going into the second round etc etc... As a few of the earlier posts suggested, it does sound like buckets are still likely to be added as an option for all allocations, but we will have to hang tight on this one as well

Recently started considering it. Might be too pink for me though. Not sure.

I had the same concerns... But after reading a few press releases from Porsche, they make it clear that it is a much darker shade compared to the original Ruby, and i think its going to be one of those colors that changes heavily depending on light. I am all in on Ruby Star Neo and cant wait to spec mine with it!

Is Ruby Star Neo brand new? Based on this article, I think it is and will only be available on certain sports cars, which I like. It's one of the reasons I like Shark over, say, Chalk. You won't see a Shark Blue Porsche SUV.

Yes! Ruby Star Neo is brand new... its their modern take on Ruby Star or RubyStone... they just released it with the T, 718 Exclusive model and it will be available only on select models. I think they did end up launching it on most if not all sports cars, but certain ones were excluded from the color
