All just opinions. If you like it, go for it. I didn’t mention the Barney thing because that has nothing to do with why I don’t think the colors work together. With that said, I have a feeling the take rate among ruby buyers will be very low.
The obvious flipside of course is that takers will have an uncommon spec.

Hi, if someone doesn’t do it sooner, on Thursday at 12:00 I am picking up my GT silver with green T interior stitching (no extended leather) in manual. Will take pictures at the dealer and post them here later that day.

I poked around a few dealerships today in SoCal. Just wanted to share that dealers around here are still charging ~15k ADM, even with the MY24 pricing increase

They do because they can!
Thankfully that kind of thing doesn’t happen with all dealers. Never hear of it in the UK, not sure about the rest of Europe??
When Porsche CEO held a Press Conference recently to announce their financial results he talked about a two year waiting list for 911’s!

I know of one isolated case in the UK, a colleague of mine paid £10,000 for a GTS allocation without ever getting into the queue, wink-wink, nudge-nudge, say no more.

That’s different - he paid a premium to be able to drive it imm out the showroom, no wait involved.
From what I’m reading in some USA dealers you pay that extra premium AND still have to wait 6 months

I bought my car in the Netherlands with a nice discount. Around 3%. We never pay more here. But here we have 7 unsold 992 T just waiting at dealers begging for a customer. In Belgium and UK and Germany I cannot find even one.

Perfect! We will all be anxious for you to solve the big mystery of exactly what gets the colored stitching when it comes to the standard (non-extended leather) T interior pkg! The only things 100% certain to have colored stitching are the seats, center console lid, door armrests, and the "911" on the headrests. Plus colored seat belts. Most ppl are convinced the steering wheel will lack the contrast stitching, but the rest is basically up in the air. Manual shift boot? Knee pads? Rear seat backs? Rear center tunnel (obv'ly only w/rear seats)? Floor mats?

PS - did you get rear seats?

It’s not just opinions. Some colors work together and some just don’t. It has to do with color frequency and things like that. Don’t know the exact science behind it myself, but maybe I just have a feeling for it? Went to Google to find a color matcher tool and this is what I found: https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/

I was just shocked and surprised what came out after chosing a Ruby-like color. And no this is not a joke lol just try it yourself. Turns out some colors are complementary to each other on the color wheel. They are eachothers opposite apparently. So the Ruby stone with green interior gets the colorwheel approval. And now it’s also suddenly very clear to me why a Gentian blue Porsche with yellow details seems so amazing to me.

I’m sure the enormous car taxes in NL factor into the demand for cars like this. Is a relatively low priced Porsche relevant when they all cost a ton of money?

I thought it all was pretty clear. I wrote it down for you. But then there were some strange points because of the non-leather package. And also the pictures seem a bit different than reality. So I needed to rewrite it. In the end I had to agree with you and deleted it all. Especially because the T package is something different than the normal leather package.
