My dealer had samples of all the paint colors when I was there yesterday. I did spend a lot of time looking at the Ice Grey Metallic which could look really good with the Agate trim on the T. You can see it on Taycans and the new GT3RS, it looks interesting but I still wish PTS was the option!
Order submitted last night; freeze date in about 6 weeks, with delivery slated for March 31st.

That leaves Racing Yellow, Ruby Star, Shark Blue, and Python Green. All are striking and look good. I could make a case for each. I had a Racing Yellow 991.2T which was not my first choice (wanted Lava Orange but the yellow was what was available). The color gave me pause and I wasn't sure about it at first. But it turned out to fit the T personality and never failed to make people smile. I got a lot of compliments and it wasn't as loud and shouty as it might seem. A bright yellow 911 does not blend in, and is certainly not for everyone, but it wasn't so over the top as to scream look at me. I suspect the other 3 finalist colors may be the same, but I'm leaning toward another Racing Yellow. I know Shark Blue gets a lot of compliments and looks great when I've seen it. The new Ruby Star is very interesting and I'm sure I'd like it in person, but it feels a little louder than the yellow to me. Python looks good and add in the green interior trim makes it a very cool option. I think it would be RY or PG+green interior for me. If I could have any PTS it would probably be Bahama Yellow.

This is a real conundrum. I've modified my order to GT silver, AKA Generic Silver. It's not a bad color, its just, well, so generic. Drive down the road and look around, 80 per cent plus of the cars are white, gray, silver, black or somewhere in between. It's like were back in the days of black and white TV. My small pea brain is doing backflips on what is the right answer. Really appreciate all the thoughts and insights on this forum. Keep the ideas coming.

I definitely agree that a bright color works best on the T, but I personally was going to go for a dark metallic color like amethyst, viola, or jet green along with the decal delete for a subtle but special spec. From the standard colors the only option that really gets close to that is gentian blue, which can look pretty great from what I've seen but it's not my favorite. I've always had black cars in the past and feel the 911 deserves something besides black/grey/silver/white. I could probably handle shark blue or even ruby star neo but not sure I want to go bright.

Was Henry Ford right? "You can have any color you want as long as it's Black." I really like black on almost every car but, keeping it clean enough to look good is a whole nother story.

GT Silver is one of the best shades of silver. There is something about how it looks on a Porsche that just works really well. I love bright colors, but if you want subdued but still classy and looking good, then GT Silver is a solid choice.

I liked the color so much that I'm ordering my 992 T the same way. I think it's timeless and classic. Not a lot of colors that show the lines better than that one. Change the color in the configurator to different ones and watch what the shadows in the curves and lines.

Those that have a confirmed allocation, build submitted and commission number for your T, where are you located? I have spoken with all 3 dealers near me and none of them have heard of confirmed allocations and do not expect them until January. I have a current 992 to trade in, and was guaranteed allocation #1, but they are just in a holding pattern on this at the moment.

It seems like a handful went out but most dealers are still waiting for their allocation assignments

My SA at a high 911 volume dealership told me there will not be any PTS until the
2024 model year, i.e. August 2023. Assuming that is true, does anyone know whether a 2024 Carrera T would have
the particulate filter and be hybrid?
The weight of a hybrid battery and motor would utterly defeat the purpose and character of a Carrera T.
My guess is that they would skip the hybrid on the T, like on the GT cars.
Does anyone have any information about hybrid/particulate filter for the 2024 Carrera T?
Or at least thoughtful conjecture?
I am having a hard time letting go of the PTS (Superior Red) Carrera T dream... for Chalk.
...and I don't want the heavier brakes and increased turbo lag of an S.
