Yes! Ruby Star Neo is brand new... its their modern take on Ruby Star or RubyStone... they just released it with the T, 718 Exclusive model and it will be available only on select models. I think they did end up launching it on most if not all sports cars, but certain ones were excluded from the color
It's not metallic, is it?

I think this is where I stand. I don't WANT to spend $5000 on Sport Design but I NEED to. I hate Porsche for this lol.

I was at my dealer yesterday and they did not have paint in yet... they didnt even have the marketing brochures for the T or other new models yet... My understanding is Ruby Star Neo is a non-Metallic color... similar to the way PTS Ruby Star is a non metallic... This one just gets a darker "slightly more purple/red tone" instead of hot pink

I had buckets in my last T and as mentioned above it makes it very difficult to get anything into the rear section. I'm actually seriously considering getting the regular 4 ways with T package as having a folding seat with plenty of rear access sounds pretty amazing. Just hoping that in the final form of the configurator, we will still be able to order rear seat delete with 4 ways...

I just got the same call. They said 911s are now on 'Order Stop' for PTS. This is a big curveball for me, I think the T's grey accents look best with a lighter color and I was set on Meissen. Not sure what to do, go with a 'plain' color like silver, or wait until the time comes (if it comes!?!?) where PTS is an option again...

I am conflicted with regards to PTS availability as well. So far no dealer has told me about the stop sale, even though I have read about it in a few threads on here now. So I am skeptical when the one dealer with a 15k ADM allocation tells me they expect to be able to do PTS and it would just delay arrival of the car. I'm going in to have a face to face discussion with them regarding that before I commit to anything.
With the other dealers without available allocations I have submitted demand orders with PTS, but the talks of such a short production run plus the stop sale does make me wonder what the real order window will be for a PTS T. I would feel a bit silly waiting for PTS and ending up without a car, but I think I would also have some regrets locking in a standard color car now and it turns out PTS would have been available had I waited.

I feel your pain adm63! I need to sign my commitment with the dealer today, so this curveball has me scrambling. Ice Grey Metallic could be interesting since its newer and they're featuring it on the GT3 RS. But I'm really conflicted, as I was focused on more unique colors in the blue palette and I think Gentian and a lot of the 'standard' colors are too dark for the T...

I feel it's exactly what you'd want with a T. When and if you want music, just turn it up to overcome road noise and it won't distort at higher sounds. I think the notion that you wouldn't want to waste money on a good system since there is more noise (less sound deadening) in the T is the opposite of what is logical.

Awesome build, I absolutely love that color exterior. Saw it at the Toronto Auto Show a few years back and it really is incredible. To add to your SportDesign quandary, you should order the SportDesign side skirts too. Did you intentionally leave rear seats off your build? You can add exterior color to interior trim for $0. Might really pop with that interior.
EDIT: then again, maybe not

Suspension is a maze to navigate... my understanding is T is 10mm lower than standard Carrera.. GTS is 20mm lower, but if you select the Active suspension option vs. sport suspension option for GTS it RAISES it 10mm to be at the same height as the T... but as standard it is 20mm lower than a base Carrera.
There are essentially two suspensions types available: PASM and Sport-PASM. Both have active/adaptive damping. The Sport-PASM is 10mm lower than the base PASM with stiffer springs, roll bars and recalibrated dampers.
Both the T and GTS come standard with the 10mm lower Sport-PASM with the difference that the GTS is fitted with the turbo Sport-PASM that is ~25% stiffer than the Carrera-S Sport-PASM fitted to the -T.

No, it’s far simpler than that:

With the loss of PTS as an option does anyone have ideas on how to take a basic color and add some lipstick? For example, I've considered white with side and rear logo delete and then have gulf blue carrera t logos printed for the side and rear script. This is a pretty inexpensive way to go and easy enough to remove if it grows old. Any thoughts or ideas?
