I was at my dealer yesterday and he said there was communication that said the buckets would be added to the configurator this week. Bose is for sure out, and PCCB are for sure out... but buckets are going to be available... now, could porsche do what they've been doing with a lot of other things and take the order and then omit the seats during the build process... possibly

Love this quote from the "Motor Trend" article: "The only thing this car wants is to be driven hard by someone who enjoys driving for driving's sake." That's me to a T (pun intended). I can't wait to experience this car some day.

WOW, such conflicting information now. One can only hope at this point

Question: date buckets in limited supply the way certain electronics are? If so, why? Hell, make my buckets fully manual so there are no electrons at all and I'd be happy. (They would be lighter that way.)

I love my manual seats! Save the manuals!

Those that have a confirmed allocation, build submitted and commission number for your T, where are you located? I have spoken with all 3 dealers near me and none of them have heard of confirmed allocations and do not expect them until January. I have a current 992 to trade in, and was guaranteed allocation #1, but they are just in a holding pattern on this at the moment.

I am in Northern California. My dealer also only got one allocation this time around.

Same on all counts. I'm North East and it sounds like there were only a few allocations granted to select dealerships over the last week. I'm #1 at my dealership but they haven't received yet.

I'm guaranteed the first allocation in NY. It has not come yet. Are they looking to sell the first few cars in warmer climates like FL and CA?

Okay Thanks... based on what im seeing, just a couple dealers on the west coast (CA) and South (Florida) so far have confirmed allocations. North East is definitely not on the list yet. I really don't want to wait until January... I wonder if they will sprinkle them in over the next month or so once they get a better idea of production capacity etc... My SA mentioned that they will from time to time stray from the traditional "quarterly" allocation drop

Makes sense. My guy said he's expecting T and 3RS allocations to come in together, and separate from their regular car and SUV allocations that they got last week.

I was told November 17th is the expected date for T allocations.

By whom? SA? Is this coming from PNA?

As I think about all of this more and more, it is wild to me that they are willing to fulfill Cayman T, Boxster T and all 718 GTS variants with Full Bucket Seats (up and running on the configurators), but wont give a straight answer to those looking to spend a lot more on a Carrera T. I need to get outside and get this off my mind, but the whole process is once again frustrating the hell out of me.

That is why Porsche had no business launching another car they can't even make.
