That's not good - the one thing I've always found with official Porsche dealers is the wonderful customer service!
I mean you're spending a good few bucks, the very least you should expect is a prompt response!
My dealer called me to let me know before I got the email the other day.
How about chatting to the dealership Manager and requesting a different salesman or you'll cancel the order!?

Anyone dealt with unresponsive SA? Got the TYD email a few days ago but nothing from my SA. I would not have known I got an allocation without the TYD email. My SA has always been taking more than a week to reply to my email or to return my call. I guess I have to bear with this SA since this is the only allocation I have at the moment.

I have heard that a number of options are starting to become unavailable and as such I am going to lock in on Monday / Tuesday and not risk waiting. However, I am getting a little confused by some of the interior options.
I have selected Sport-Tex interior package with extensive items in leather' and 'Interior Trim Package with decorative Stitching in contrasting Colour (Guards Red)'.
What does the 'Dashboard trim package in leather ' and 'Door trim package in leather' actually add as the configurator hardly changes? Is it just the part around the chrono, and the storage cover in the door?
Am I right in saying the 'extended leather package' then simply adds the fuse panel cover and door threshold?

Not sure if it has been mentioned here, but this video seems to confirm that the manual T gets to select whether or not to include auto blip in each driving mode. The option to turn it on or off is currently only available in the GTS, not the Carrera S.

I just read through the waiting room for incoming deliveries thread, and the delays seem pretty bad. Is anyone else worried?

Hello Everyone!
First of all I would like to thank you all for the great suggestions, insights and discussions which helped me to configure my 992T.

I just received a call from my sales manager telling me the car should be delivered around mid March. I will share some pictures as soon as it gets delivered.

Here some rationals about my choices:
- Surround View, PDLS+, Light design, folding mirrors, power stirring+ are part of the swiss package at no cost (market price here is ca 150k usd!).
- Back seats for practicality and I never liked the back seats deletion without rollbar.
- RAS because I liked a lot on the 992 GT3 I driven last year
- LCA is quite useful on German Autobahn
- Ventilated seats are very nice during the hot summer days in south Europe (and I prefer leather to fabric)
- Silver belts and interior trim in silver to add some light colors to the black interior
- Porsche crest on the lid as I won’t have the 911 logo on the headrest with leather seats.

After ordering on 10/24, getting the order approved by Porsche on 11/08 and having April 2023 as delivery date, in December, I went and changed a lot of the options.
Mostly adding, not removing, despite me trying hard not to. Wanted to get a "gran turismo" spec. To each his own. Ethos etc. Would have the carbon buckets been available, my configuration would have been: yellow, sport design, buckets, bigger gas tank and nothing else (ok, PCCB would have also been very tempting). A lightweight weekend car, short trips and the occasional track day (historically huge track near me).
I find the current color selection pretty small, as I can't swing green, red or ruby, loved yellow (with Sport Design exterior) but the feedback (family, friends, even the dealer...) was cold, to say the least, I currently own a car with San Marino blue color (amazing color!), so didn't want blue anymore (Gulf Blue, but sadly no PTS allowed)...I might have OCD, so black would kill me and every other Porsche or car in my friends garages is in crayon/chalk. So, in the end, I got to choose between white or silver. Went with silver, as white was too "one dimensional" for me.
Now it looks like this
And Friday Porsche sent me again the official paperwork, approving the changes and...drum rolls, changed the delivery date to February!
I might be the only prospective Carrera T future owner that is not pleased by the delivery date being moved forward! April was perfect, but February?! I will have to tuck it in the garage and forget it exists for 2 months. Bummer.
No PPF for me on this one. I have full Xpel Ultimate Plus on the current toy (and ceramic coating on top of it), which has "individual" color, lots of exposed carbon bits, etc and it's nice to just wipe it and not care about swirls. But with silver I might get the same "carefree" washing experience.
Regarding "pre cut" vs "cut on the car", go with "cut on the car", it looks much nicer from near (but can't see any difference from 10ft or more.)
