992 Carrera T Club

I also got word from my SA that an allocation is available for me! Build date in May and delivery in July! I was originally in line for an S but moved to the T when it was announced (both at MSRP, SF Bay Area dealer).
Here is my initial build: http://www.porschecode.com/PPWQX493
I plan to use this car as a daily driver with occasional weekend canyon carving and road trips with my wife and son (when he's big enough to fit in a forward facing carseat). I optioned the glass sunroof because I like how it makes the interior feel more open, brightens up the dark interior, as well as how it breaks up the exterior color. I removed the side decals because I think it gets washed out in the dark blue. I would have optioned Bose but I think I'll just deal with the base audio or upgrade it if it's really as bad as everyone is saying.
I'm planning to visit my dealer soon to compare some additional options in person, but I'll probably leave them off: Other colors, 18-way seats, leather interior, LCA, surround view/power folding mirrors.
I'm pretty happy with my minimal build but I would appreciate any feedback on my current and potential choices.

Too much black plastic on the non-SportDesign for my taste

I found the Porsche "EasyShare" QR code on the door jamb of one of the videos. This led me to the info sheets of all 5 Carrera T's reviewed by the press / YouTubers on Angeles Crest Highway a few weeks ago. Hopefully this will provide some inspiration for your builds!

I am leaning towards the Bold choice of Python now..
just not sure about the lizard interior with Python exterior.
So the Weight difference between the manual and PDK cars is 35kg.

^^ I think Lizard would go great w Python. It is a lot of green though.
EDIT: THIS is too much green (another RLer's build I just spotted)

Burning Brakes
My current order includes the SportsDesign front apron but I'm having second thoughts. I'm not convinced it's any prettier??
I'm locking Tuesday.
I'll stick with manual and keeping it simple and cheap....
- GT Silver
- F Axle Lift
- 18 way seats
- Folding mirror
- Lightweight glass
- Red seat belts
- Rear seats
- Interior Package painted in Exterior Colour
Shame about Bose

Thought I'd share my current build. I am still bouncing around between white, silver, and chalk for now. Would welcome any comments from people who have experience living with 911s in any of these colors.
Freeze date March 8, deliver date May 12.

You can get a myriad of deviated stitching colors, almost none of which was available on the 991. In fact, if you want to go yellow exterior/interior, you actually have two different yellow stitching options — racing and speed.
PTS and buckets will be available for those who are patient. Porsche, like the rest of the world, is experiencing challenges with labor and production/manufacturing shortages.
PCCBs are not offered this time around, which is the one notable difference. I imagine this is because very few buyers wanted to add $9k brakes to a model that is largely attractive because it is a smart package for a low price.
Overall, both the quantity and variability of options offered for the 992 T leaves the 991.2 T in the dust. It was a constant point of frustration and complaint among 991 T buyers.

Also, I think overall the "quantity and variability of options" went up not only regarding T models, but overall. Look how 991.2 GT3 touring were ordered and how the 992 are specced.
I was just saying that the options I wanted, were not offered or are not yet available. Even when some of them were to be seen in the press cars.

I found another Python with Lizard car on the internet with some better pictures. I am also torn on this combo I think I wish they just offered python stitching like the macan...but oh well.

@Uhu nice build! And I am jealous the German configurator is so much more modern than the US one.
The difference between my "reasonable" and the "whatever your heart desires" spec was about 13k, much of that is the Burmester audio system. Bose would have been enough.
It's buggy though, the new configurator. It's getting better but in October/November it was getting updates every other week almost.
