992 Carrera T Club
Has anyone compiled a complete list of the differences between the 992 Carrera T and the 992 Carrera (base)? Not just the advertised features highlighted by Porsche, but the other distinctive features that various Carrera T owners have pointed out in this thread and elsewhere on Rennlist. I'm asking because the following post from @detansinn got me wondering about a statement he made in a different thread:
I never considered PDK, so I hadn't previously worked through the value proposition of the 992 Carrera T with PDK versus the base Carrera. So his post got me curious. My knee-jerk reaction was to disagree, but then I gave it more consideration. The best way to measure the validity of his assertion would be with a complete list of base versus T differences, and then to compare the two models as equipped with PDK. My sense is that the PDK Carrera T is still more bang for the buck as long as you want the additional options baked into the T, but I'd like to review a complete list of differences to make a more balanced assessment.
IMHO, if you're buying a 992 Carrera T with a PDK, you're doing it wrong. With the 992.1 generation, the T exists so that you can get a manual transmission with the Base engine -- and almost all of the weight savings come from that manual gearbox. Sure, you get access to some options not available on the Base car, but with a PDK T, you're getting precious little included that's worth the $10,500 upcharge over a Base Carrera.

Here is a list of the differences that are baked into the T as standard equipment (I may be missing some):
PASM Sport Suspension and Sprot Chrono Package as standard
Mechanical limited slip differential w/PTV
GT Sport steering wheel
Sport Exhaust System
Four-way Sport Seats Plus
Carrera S wheels
Lightweight glass
Less sound deadening to reduce weight
Ability to delete rear seats
Lithium Ion battery on 23' models and some 24' models
For me, these options make the T and I wouldn't want to get a base car without them.

Oh and sport-tex seat centers paired with "911" headrest embroidery exclusive to the T.

PASM Sport Suspension- (larger springs, sway bars, and added "S" front Splitter)...rough guess of $2500
Sprot Chrono - $2790
Sport Exhaust (Black tips) - $2950
Mechanical (manual)or Electrical (PDK) limited slip differential w/PTV- rough guess of $3000
GT Sport steering wheel- $330
Four-way Sport Seats Plus- $810
Carrera S wheels in Agate gray or Black- $3080
Lightweight glass- $1250
Less sound deadening to reduce weight-$0
Ability to delete rear seats-$0
Agate gray logo and decals-$300
Lithium Ion battery on 23' models and some 24' models -$400
TOTAL-$17,410
I'm seeing almost $18k in additional options if you could build a Base with "T" parts...so with only a $10k msrp difference between a standard Base and a "T", the "T" is a bargain!

I just ordered a T fellas! Haven't had a 911 for a while. It's my first spec of my own. Tried to do it as light weight as possible. Would have gotten PCCB but no more. I had a 991.2 Carrera T so I'm excited to compare them.
Here is the build:

The smaller fuel tank would reduce it a little more, but I like the longer range. A lightweight battery and PCCB would have been amazing. I'm sensitive to unsprung weight and can easily feel the difference of a GT3 with and without PCCB on track so I really would have loved the brakes. I'm not suggesting one would want PCCB for a track car, I'm just saying I can feel the weight difference when directly comparing. You can still get PCCB on an S. I don't get why no offering for T. Regardless it's not an ultimate performance car and I think the build will be really fun. Can't wait to get it.

To Aero Kit or to not Aero Kit - RY
Has anyone drove both versions? 992.1 T with (non aero kit) vs 992.1 T (with aero kit). And if so any difference?
Really happy with mines: just a pic i want to share for anyone of you guys that has a racing yellow incoming that wanna see how the aero looks on the RY. Congrads everyone! Much love and for those that got your orders in for RY before it got discontinued
shoutout to M-Engineering they really knock out it out the park with their tune. I freaking love it 100% worth it. Smooth increased hp power delivery, 100% open valves really changed the driving experience for me.

Does the M chip add a noticeable amount of power? Any quirks with it? Was it easy to install? I’m illiterate on a computer.

Looks really good.
By the time my allocation spot is confirm Porsche already pulled out yellow from the configurator. Yellow was one in 3 contender for my exterior color.
