er.... I checked it out and asked about it mate! the dongle is hanging off the top of the hood crack, just below where the wiper is gonna wipe the spray off downwards. I can see it when I peek from the windscreen, so either am doing something wrong or I am totally wrong. am sure you are smarter and know a magic sauce that I missed.

@scottp i owe you an apology. I need to remember It does not take much to be nice to people and I was not nice to you. Sorry about that. Will do better. Cheers.

Not sure who had the pigtail on the battery above, but I seriously doubt that could be factory. Looks too messy like something I might do afterwards. Wait, I added a pigtail to mine and it looks eerily similar...but I do have the Li battery and don't have the weird second wire running off the (+) between the battery and firewall.

Contracting a non-curable virus would be easier than finding a 992 S to test drive. 🤣 Simply not happening within 3-4 hours of our location.

dang! There have been a bunch of cpos at my local though out the year. What I’ve realized is I can’t actually use more power than the T, on the rural roads I drive. T is usable sports car. S is an autobahn cruiser.

They are short so they can sell you an extension! But seriously I think they are short so people don't have an issue with the pigtail interfering with something moving in the engine compartment. Not an issue for a 911, but more often than not it would be.

The speedo is a bit optimistic on the car but that's properly moving - not many places in North America you can get to those speeds. How stable does the car feel that that speed?

Yes it is a bit optimistic but my last T did 308km/h. So big difference. Car felt stable enough, but liked my former T a tidy bit more. But that one had a different allignment.

After doing 700km’s on some of my favorite local roads, I feel the same way with my T, I can use a bit more of what it has to give than my previous S. It’s still a stupid fast car on back roads though and you really can’t come close to pushing it hard as it’s limits are still very high. It’s certainly more than enough 911 for my use.

I didn't take your initial comment that way at all. No worries and thanks

US law requires them. ROW do not.
