Someone needs to spearhead the effort. Other than June 7-8 I am pretty open in June. So far.

Wonder why some cars have the Carrera T door sticker applied at the assembly picture and others don't. Seem really odd that they would have various places to install the sticker in the assembly process.

I too had S2000 (2 AP1s) and an FR-S, and about 40 other sports/performance cars. I had a 991 T, 997.2 C2, and now back for more with an inbound 992 T in GT silver. I think you'll really enjoy the Porsche. Join PCA and go to some events - it is a good group and makes ownership more fun.

How would you compare the 911s you’ve owned to the S2000 and FR-S, in terms of handling and overall performance?

I definitely plan on joining PCA and getting as much seat time as I can (could be challenging with a 15-month old).

Anyone know what the weight limit is for the seats when they are folded down (the seats in the above photo with the the Premiere Protein on it)?

good question! I did try the water first, and did not feel good about it. Which led to me learning you need to fold the seat forward first and then slide it forward. Otherwise it will jam into the sun visor.

This is perplexing. I guess my lower back muscles are defective. The 4 ways lack lumbar support and actually to me the lumbar area of the 4 way seats caves inward and doesn't fill in the small of my lower back, the 18 way seats of course have lumbar and when inflated just right, they fill that void with support. I'd LOVE to save $2800 and get the 4 ways.

Apples and oranges really. 911 has a trademark light front end feel, and huge mechanical grip in the rear. It can put the power down very easily. Good visibility too. Really hard to compare it with a front engined anything. Of all the 40+ performance cars I've owned, the S2000 has the best shifter and pedal box, and S2000 is the only car I bought two of the same year (2003) because I like it so much. 911 is a really good daily driver and can be an an all season car with the right tires.

I don't recall anyone from CT attending. It was all PA/NJ/NY I thnk? I would vote to change the meet location a bit further west. Maybe Orange, Sullivan, Sussex, Upper Passaic Counties. I'm happy to lead a group through Hawk's Nest and loop into the Poconos and back for those that want to get a nice drive in. Last time we stopped in Port Jervis for lunch after running through Warwick.
