NO, sound is not piped in to the cabin to artificially recreate desirable acoustics.
"Artificially generating sounds and adding them to the drive spectrum through speakers is absolutely out of the question."

It really makes sense to give the driver more engine sound. It’s needed to drive better. When I drive my bone stock 964 I cannot hear the engine, so I’m constantly looking at my tach or checking to see what gear I’m in. I want to increase the noise but I don’t want a real loud car. This is a great fix!
My 97 993 has a stage 3 fister exhaust and it’s so much more exhilarating. The more throttle you give it, the more feedback you get. But it can be loud a full throttle…..and everyone has to hear it. 🎵
So happy for all you guys getting your cars! I had one the first tastes with my Euro Delivery but now the long wait for delivery to the US. I was hoping to have it in early May but looks like it is going to be early June. I dropped my car off in Sindelfingen on 3/28 and was hoping to make the Sunshine Ace which left on 4/5. Apparently trucking issues caused the delay. Now confirmed on the the next ship headed to Jacksonville, Siem Confuscious, which looks like it is delayed by about 6 days. Maybe they will make up some time. Since I haven’t had a chance to post my comprehensive ED experience, I will add some pictures from the trip. Excuse the liquid roll on Paint protection fim, which has a matte appearance and white and bubbled up appearance after time in the rain. But did its job. No chips after 2100 km of driving including track day at Spa and couple laps at the ring.
WOWWW! looks fantastic. I am just over a month away from heading to Germany for my ED trip!!! And I am also dreading the LONGG wait for it to make its way back here this summer...
Got a treat for those that posted pics. My friend taught me how to quickly slap together vids on phone. Here’s a montage. Pics so good I had to make mini vid for all. Enjoy!
Let’s try to keep track. What % of “sticker delete” bro namaths actually got sticker delete?
I think I’ve only seen one so far. Ze Germans clearly want us to have the sticker.
It’s amusing, kind of, but I would strongly prefer to not deal with removing it personally.
I don’t want to do go through the effort (and chemical/paint risks), and I know a random tech at the dealer doesn’t care about my paint 1% as much as I do…
Anyway, let’s measure how often “sticker delete” is ignored, right? For science!

It was showing as £135.5k earlier!!! ... Now showing at £132.5k. Looking at MY23 prices MRSP would be about £127k so £5k mark up. Given dealers can't sell showroom cars immediately maybe a (late) cancelled order?
I hadn’t seen the price drop, seems strange to drop it so soon. Apparently Cambridge has a demo they are going to sell with virtually zero miles too, another Ice Grey one.
‘Thule is perfect for road bike or a hard-tail in the picture.
Full-suspension bike with 180mm front and 160mm rear travel’
Thule do a front wheel out bike carrier for a bolt through front axle. Not tried a wheel in the back on my test drive this weekend, but Thule may still do a wheel carrier.
This is true for light-weight bikes. Not ideal for eMTB.
How often do you lift your bike to get it over a fence or a locked gate? I do regularly. It is fun and part of the exercise.
However, lifting eMTB overhead without front wheel feels out of balance and having hard forks pointing towards a beautifully sculpted roof and windshield… not so much.
Try it at home with your current car before you buy all the kit.
Is it possible to put a cargo net in the back where the rear seats used to be? I see two anchor points on the back shelf, but I don’t see anything else. If not, what are the two anchor points on the back shelf for?
