A couple things I'd like to ask other T owners on this thread:

1) Just noticed a turbo whistling sound off idle when doing slow parking maneuvers. It's actually not noticeable outdoors especially with windows up but yesterday, I had the windows and roof open and noticed this sound while backing into an indoor parking garage spot. Sounds like what a turbodiesel truck would sound like when light throttle is applied. I figured this is probably normal sounds from a T which obviously has turbos and sport exhaust, but thought I'd ask here anyway.

2) After initial start-up and engine revs go down, I noticed a high-pitched sound only noticeable from the rear engine while standing outside and directly behind the car while engine is idling. Sounds like a constant "beeping" sound and for a second I thought it was my parking sensors from inside the car, but it definitely wasn't that. Probably normal too?

Anyhow, I really do love the lack of sound insulation the T has and enjoying all the other mechanical sounds and noises while driving - especially the small rocks smacking around the unlined wheel wells
1. Turbo whistle just off idle is very normal.

How can anyone not ❤️ the T, ha. Regarding the whistle sound, skip to 30 second mark of this vid. It’s Turbo whistles if that’s what you’re referring. Beautiful thang. 😆

Took my T in for the glass test. They simply turned up my 400 watt sub to the max…shook my T and the sales building and said you’re good, ha.

1. LOVE the whistling sound, its very normal.
2. I noticed this too, but a friend of mine has the exact same car, same MY2024, same "T" and for some reason he doesn't have it. Never able to figure out what its from. Anyone care to chime in?

D - Let’s get the NY/NJ/CT gang together again for round 2. Traveling a lot for work in May, but maybe June?

I had Bray windshield skin installed at my PPF shop immediately after delivery. No issues, but probably would not risk it again, knowing what we now know.

[QUOTE=gargey;19422024]With GT silver, "interior trim painted in exterior color" is a good choice on the T. Everything else in there is very dark, and it pops without looking tacky like many other colors do for that option.[/QUOTE

Totally agree

same here.. getting to know my Carrara T. its not our first Porsche, but its our first modern Porsche.

stupid question, does the new 2024 Cars come with physical owners manual? I couldn't find it in the car. perhaps they dont print them in to be environmental conscious or something? or did the dealer miss giving me one?

My owner’s manual was in a leather Porsche folio in the glove box along with service manual, porsche branded lightning and usb-c cables, monroney sticker and some other docs. Maybe dealer forgot to give it to you?

I’d say the only light weight forged wheels available for a T from the factory is pretty ethos!
