Same. Utterly unapologetic message from my SA saying next week. He reminded me "how common" these kinds of delays are. I recognize this is not the fault of the dealer but their messaging on all this has been terrible. I'm particular perturbed because he convinced me to give him my 991 trade on 9/21 when I thought I'd have my car on 10/6. Said it was a "favor" and that my car would be there any day.

So, now, no car or loaner.

When did he think he'd get the 992? I assumed I'd have the new one in a couple of days or would have kept the old one.

He knew it would be a wait, but pushing 8-9months is getting a little crazy. Especially since the car has been in Houston since August.

Uh Oh, TYD still says my car will be at the dealer on 11/13. Better change my anticipation level. Sounds like it's gonna be a Thanksgiving car (or later)

I’m doing PEC delivery in my TTS cab and I got an email from Porsche in Atlanta this am to schedule my delivery. Even though my car is set to arrive dec 4, first available dates are in late January and early February. I asked why the 2 month delay and they said to accommodate for certification process as they are unsure when this will happen.

Yah turbos are on a different time frame than the Carreras for epa certification from what I understand

There are plenty of dealers across the country that have plenty coming in, but not a single one that actually has photos of vehicles on the lot. There have even been dealers "Cough here in the DC area Cough" that have gone as far as to list the 2021's as "on the lot" but alas, they are not there.
I know exactly which dealer you’re talking about. They’re part of a chain from which I once bought a car. Never again. They play games.
