2021 Delivery Date?

Maybe it is the fault of both Porsche and the USofA? I definitely could see Porsche submitting the information late due to the 2-3 months they were shut down for Covid-19 and then expecting Uncle Sam to hustle once it was received, and then Uncle Sam failing to hustle as it is not capable or motivated to do so.

No clue, We are all in the dark.. same thing occurred last year... so Porsche clearly hasn’t learned a better way to do this.

My Sales guy Emailed me Saturday I think it was, said the 9th was the release date, no delay codes present. I’m thinking Porsche wants to start collecting money ASAP, and probably will make that date. I hope.

Many other brands under the VW umbrella have already received certification for 2021 MY, so it makes it especially puzzling why Porsche seems to have the issues. You would think that application for certification is a very standardized process, and one that would be handled by "Corporate". Clearly not the case here (unless of course there are issues from an application that went in early this year and was rejected -- not a good scenario...)

The delay from the EPA is normal. No reason to be concerned.

So Taycans are not affected by this then?
What is EPA going to do when all the cars become electric?

I think that it probably is Porsche and not the EPA. 2021 Canadian cars are also "waiting for certification" and the EPA has no jurisdiction here.

The thing is you're not going to get it until you get it there's nothing you can influence or do so you may as well accept and distract yourself some other way...ha
