the sa I spoke with said they have been getting emails from porsche he sounded 100% confident. Wasn't my sa who is out of office today confirming again with him tomorrow

I’m not feeling like any release has taken place.

Mine said the same with certain confidence, citing delivery this week or early next at the latest.

my dealer has been extremely conservative throughout this process, ie not giving life to rumors on here.. for them to say this with confidence is all the confirmation I need

I think this is beyond true, at this point in the game I’m not sure why any of us should expect Porsche to have their act together on uniformly updating all dealers on the EPA status. IMHO it was honestly always going to occur like this, with the biggest dealers like Hen, knowing first. I think that just because some haven’t confirmed doesn’t mean it’s not true, just that maybe the system is, as we’ve seen already, seriously flawed...

While mine did initially give a false release week ago, claiming I would have it before November 6, I called them on the BS and they have since been super conservative as well on updates. They essentially refused to give me any hope until just this morning confirming it’s coming and “for real” this time.

I was just teasing a little. Lighten up?

I just checked with Porsche Chandler, still showing 11/13 as the release date. It could be that Porsche has not updated their system. As noted previously, dealers will be getting invoiced as soon as the cars are released, no matter what it says in the system.

I should note that dealer proactivity with regards to these updates is probably a key factor here, as it appears this may not have come from the system itself. My dealer did acknowledge that he had a lot of key clients that were very upset (not to say we aren’t key, but these people are up there...) that were very upset with the situation, so they had made a point to do everything they could to stay on this and have updates ASAP. I’m sure most dealers are this way, but there could be some that aren’t and rely on solely the system.

I wonder if there is a difference geographically and/or with CARB states? Speaking as someone in California, hopefully not.

Hope this is true for everybody!

FWIW, my TYD is still showing arrival at the dealer this Friday. I have not heard, one way or the other, from my SA but will touch base with him later this week.
