Apparently, given your views, you should move out of California now, rather than allowing EXISTING state rules to intrude on your right to own a car which violates the standards which your elected government (and their appointed experts) have developed and applied.

Why not register (and keep) your car in a non-CARB state so you and your car’s emissions can adversely impact health and mortality there?

To each their own - but why complain about the rules in the place you have knowingly chosen to live - whether or not you care about how our shared environment affects us collectively and will affect the health of your and others’ children or others you care about?

i myself am very happy owning a carb-compliant car which I hope will in the future enable PAG to continue to offer ice or ice-hybrid cars that have superb performance.

Says someone who just bought a brand new gasoline-powered 911...

interesting how we are all so different!
i traded in my 911.1 targa4S in March when I ordered my 992TTS (replacing my 991.1tts).

While I, like others, have been disappointed by delays and the Porsche information vacuum, I haven’t seen any evidence-based, rational good reason to be *angry* at PAG, PCNA, my dealer, EPA, CARB - or anyone else.

am I missing something that is evidence-based?

So it sounds to me like your a perfect candidate for a Tesla or Prius or hell maybe even a ten speed. Why contribute to any measurable amount of carbon. If you’re a crusader then at least be a righteously honest one.

good one!

reminds me of Evan Almighty. Do you think God just gives you patience, or does he give you the opportunity to learn patience.

it’s hard for me and I’m not in a carb state... Hang in there guys.

And you will have exactly the same car in your CARB state. Why wait 3 weeks and add another layer of red tape is the ridiculous part. Porsche is not going to make special CARB cars.

I actually don't think it's Porsche's fault. I saw an internal email from the Porsche Regional Manager and it seems they are just as out of the loop as we are.

In speaking with a few other car enthusiasts, CARB is notoriously slow and this happens to all the manufacturers.

Either way it still sucks to wait... we'll eventually get our cars and we'll forget about all of this nonsense.

not a crusader by any means.
reasonable middle ground will best advance the interests of p-car/ice enthusiasts.
I am certainly expecting that my 992tts will be LOTS faster than any Prius or Tesla or bicycle but YOU are most welcome to yours.
