Is there anyone in a CARB state who has been told their car has been released from the port? Per the internet, CARB states are: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and Washington, DC. I'm buying through a NJ dealer. As of yesterday, my car still had a CARB block on it.

Porsche of Arlington VA has a 2021 Turbo S on the lot - with pictures. I suspect the other cars will be coming this week.

Edit - just reread your post about CARB state. Disregard.

CARB block is still in place but hoping it gets lifted so the PoS date doesn’t move again (11/20).

Did you actually get an allocation right away? And did you order a 911 C2S?

I had no idea they were textured that way. Are they two-tone or is that just an optical illusion?

Guys -- not sure I necessarily believe it, but I just received an email from my SA in OH saying that my car has been "released for transport" from port (Baltimore) and that he expects to see it this week. I am in NJ (carb state). My hope is that maybe they at least release all the cars and then hold them at the dealerships until the official carb block is released? If that is the case, at least they could get it prepped and get my paperwork in order and arrange final shipment to me while waiting for final release -- still hoping to have it by Tgiving after waiting since late August...

As I understand it, the port is allowed to release to Ohio (non CARB) dealership as soon as EPA certification is given. Your dealer cannot deliver it to you (registering in a CARB state) until CARB certification is given.

Definitely let us know when your dealer allows you to take delivery. I've had mixed experiences when buying out of state. Some dealers have said, here's the car, do whatever you want with it (i.e., paying sales tax, getting it registered/a license plate on it in your home state, etc. is your problem). Other dealers have required me to pay my state's sales tax, show proof of insurance, etc. before they will let me leave the dealership with the car. Edit- I've never had a living in a CARB state vs. buying in non-CARB state issue to deal with though.

I don't understand how so many have taken delivery yet haven't answered the question on the particulate filter!

I pick mine up tomorrow so can answer the question then.

thanks very much - but personally I’m just not interested. my tts may or may not have a gpf - I simply don’t care - it is what it is, and if it helps the environment, all the better.

Owners will care once they hear it choke the life out of their flat-six exhaust note...
