Thinkware Dashcam set up. Had same one installed in my daily driver (Audi) and so far pretty good. Great picture and HD is good...didn't need 4k version.

Thinkware Q800Pro 2 channel Dashcam and iVolt Accessory Battery

This forum is costing me a small fortune... Thanks GJS NYC 😂
I’ve just ordered a set of HRE FF11 in tarmac for my Carmine red C4S. These will be my summer wheels, so I’ll eventually get them on the car around May next year 😅 Until then, I’ll keep the OEM alloys with the Alpin 5 on - they are a tremendous tyre.

What kind of tape is that? I did that on my F80 M3 with white a few years back and forgot what tape I used. It looks just as good as yours and held up great. Whatever it was, looks like yours and was not electrical tape.

My C2S all wrapped and tinted.

Also installed clear corner lights, painted Porsche center caps. New Carbonio spring-loaded front plate bracket mount and new Michelin Alpin 5s on the way tomorrow.

Is this going to fit? I see it is listed for 911 before 2019

That is a 991 ignition dummy plug (which replaces the key on entry and drive equipped cars). It will not fit the 992.

[QUOTE=peterdouglas;17112178 What tape did you use?[/QUOTE]

3M 2080 G13 GLOSS HOT ROD RED 3in x 5in (SAMPLE SIZE) Car Wrap Vinyl Film

$1.99 on Amazon

I cut a strip along the 5" edge 5/16" wide.

The color side of the film comes with a very thin clear coating that you need to remove before installation. The adhesive on the backside of the tape will not adhere to the clear film when you wrap the tape over itself.

Lastly I used a very thin plastic trim tool to tuck the edges in around and into the circular grooves on the steering wheel that you are covering with this tape.

.

Today's projects: I installed a set of the Clear Front Turn Signals and put the PCA Roundel on the Engine Lid.

See my adjacent write-up to peterdouglas.

I believe we're practically neighbors. If you want; shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to meet for a quick socially distanced hand off.

The single 3" X 5" piece that I have is enough to probably do at least a dozen cars. I'd be happy to share a few 5/16" strips with you. No charge even . . . I'm just that kind of a generous person. LOL

Yes there is always something else to add or do if you stay on here long enough..both pre car delivery and most definitely after it arrives! LOL

BTW did any of you guys get a gift from Porsche? Mine arrived today. Nice pen!

Package from Porsche

Nice welcome to your 992 setup
