- The sounds in SPORT and SPORT+ now is just amazing. The 100% open valves are a MUST.
- You can hear the spooling of the turbo as you accelerate in first gear. Far more notable than before.
- More pops and bangs which is fantastic. I hear it from 2000 all the way up in all gears.
- ... I'll be taking a much longer drive tomorrow and will report my findings.
I highly recommend the M-CODER for all owners... What a HUGE difference it makes!

Completed the install this afternoon. I went with the M-CODER (no tune right now). I noticed the following after the install:

Yes it can. You can select any one of these features:
PSE Exhaust Valve Modifications (true ON or OFF function, no need to buy a standalone PSE valve controller)
Loud Cold Start Elimination
Auto Start/Stop Elimination
Removal of pops and burbles in sport mode
Free-revving in Neutral (no longer limited to 3500rpm)
Elimination of codes for exhaust-valve deleted cars
European OPF Support

Decided to replace the surprisingly terrible BOSE system. Went full Focal components front/rear with Alpine 5 ch amp and Audison DSP and 10” JL shallow sub in custom enclosure (placement rear shelf) The car is back at the shop for some additional fine tuning. The process is so meticulous but so worth it.

I've had Ohlins R&T on my M3 and they're a fantastic setup.

"I changed the brakes" ...
these 4 pot Carrera T (base) calipers are not wimpy
caliper bolts (15x85) Torx 55 (63 f-lbs)
stock Pagid organics (top) vs Hawk Ceramics (below)
Looking for less brake dust (particularly the rears due to PSM) and a stronger initial bite for the street.

My experience of running ceramic pads on non designed for rotors was not successful. So yes I was/am serious in asking the question. But asked and answered, thanks.

PS They're lousy in cold temps btw

A little snooping on the internet will help clarify the difference and uses of the three basic street pad types (organic, semi-metallic, and ceramic). Ceramic pads help extend the life of iron rotors. But compared to semi-metallics they don't hold the higher heat encountered in track conditions, would have to switch out for a track pad as an alternative.

Best to get quality pads for the very reason you mentioned. The Hawk set is $325 for all four corners. If anyone would like the part numbers for the base and T brakes then let me know and I'll post them. KNS brakes is in my backyard so I usually order from Ken.
