MDR is short form for LOL in French... MDR = Mort de rire translated literally means dying of laughter...
It also works in spanish: "Muriendo De Risa". But the problem here in Southern California is that MDR would be thought of as Marina Del Rey . . . . although "LOL" might go with that as well, knowing some folks that live there.

I read it as LOL Marina Del Rey and thought it was perfect.... MDR was once described to me as the "land of the hot tubbin yuppies". Such a strange subculture of LA that lives in MDR.
I purchased the red tail light kit to replace the clear ones my car came with. I’m just not a fan of the clear. Plus the bottom two red reflectors somewhat ruin the look of the clear light kit IMO.
If anyone wants the clear middle bar and clear grill brake light. I’ll have them both for sale soon.
Well I bought a set of dashcams to add to my car and my daily driver over the holidays. Was able to get the daily driver done and was to call the shop back tomorrow to set up a date for the 992. Too late. Parking lot encounter with someone today on my front bumper...hit and run...god how I hate that shyt. No note..NO nothing just a nice scuff that went all the way thru both my clear coat and paint down to the bumper! WTF!!! Thinking SUV or raised/lifted pickup or something as the front is very low. Also was very surprised how thin the paint layer on the bumper was BTW! Not sure if PPL would have helped but welcome to ideas from the group .but since I hadn't had the dashcam install appt for the 992 [dealer just gave me their recs last weekend on a shop to use; was happily same on that did my daily driver]. Unfortunately the parking mode on my uninstalled Thinkware's Q600Pro 2 channel dash which would have at least given me photo/video evidence of the accomplice was useless in the box!
Am pissed but glad it wasn't worse and blessed to have the car still and ability to repair it easily....body shop appt on Monday at Porsche Approved Center...respray in the future I believe give the size though. Get a Dashcam AND install it guys/gals! Parking lot scuff - 8 Jan 2021

I’m sorry but at least it was just the bumper. Look at the size of that scuff! Were there shop cameras where you parked?
This is just ridiculous. Some people need to go off and live somewhere else by themselves.

I have a Chalk in order and I didn't get the clears for the same reason as the bottom reflectors wouldn't match.
I also like the red tails much better in my opinion breaks up the car a little.
I went the opposite and will have the red bar and red brake light for sale plus the clear taillights (it was cheaper here to get the kit than the bar and brake light separate)
Yes the cable is very thin and this is a very easy install. Hardest part of the job for me was pushing the rear view mirror mounts cover off to hide the wire even more before it went into the head liner.
Im not sure how this would work on a vert. I guess you could mount yours next to one of the A pilars and just run the wire down the passenger fuse box, behind the carpet and into the hidden cig port. That or mount it low on the window/dash and run it along the dash and window.
Do you know with the Garmin mini if you have to use their add on cable accessory to enable parking mode, or does it just need a constant power source?
