Hi how do you install them? I am thinking about getting the same. Hard to install? Many thanks
Which parts exactly? My car is currently 2 weeks away before it lands in my state at which point it will spend its first weeks in the shop getting all the above fitted in one go.
Well I didn't exactly buy these but had ceramic coating left over from my Audi RS5 so spent a relaxing 4-6hrs detailing my car and then applying ceramic coating to the car. After washing, quick clay and then polishing and final prep (nice relaxing 2.5 hrs) then spent the next 1.5 hrs doing Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer application and buff and wipe down then beverage break and another hour applying Gtechniq Exo V4 coat to the vehicle with appropriate wipe down and buff and inspection under lights. Ceramic is now curing overnight in the garage but looks great and what a better relaxing way to spend an afternoon and evening. Overall effort took about 6.5 hrs total which is probably more than your average detail shop but you do learn a lot in the process and I do say this one went much better and was a-lot easier than my 1st try on my 2019 Audi RS5 which I did earlier this year.
Even my son got into the act detailing his engine compartment of his BMW A few tricks of the trade Gtechniq C1Crystal Lacquer and Exo V4 ceramic-paint coating and Prep plus a beverage! Post polishing C1 Crystal application - LED lighting to assist w/finding imperfections and residue in application Right Quarter Panel now done w/Gtechniq C1 application Off to the front end Mission Completed - Gtechniq C1 and Exo V4 ceramic applied.
mdrob, does it fit right? Suncoast charges $40. for that.
So far so good.. Will see how it stands up for fingerprints and glaze while driving as just did the install yesterday while doing my car's ceramic paint protection. Slight imperfection at top that was like 1mm off but cannot really see it (top right edge). Its like a tempered glass product vs plastic film...which was a bit surprising.
Yes saw Suncoast's part and they also charged like $25+ for shipping....that's why I looked to Amazon and another option. $65 for a screen protector as a bit much..especially if the piece itself is like $5-10 for them at volume purchase...that's crazy especially since even if they shipped it Priority Mail in a Flat Rate Envelope that's like $9.95 from USPS. But in their defense maybe its just my location...
