The Porsche OEM rubber mats. Highly recommended. Bought them in person at my dealer, Porsche of San Antonio. Very well made. Tastefully understated.

Piano black trim pieces, driver and passenger side, of the nubbin. Plan is to cover them in X-Pel before installing them and never worry about microscratches again.

^^ Will do. I've heard XPel has a kit for those pieces but I was just going to drop them off at the XPel shop and have them call me when they're ready.

^ APR vs M Engineering. That's the question. APR lost its advantage when they decided that they won't warranty cars with sports cats.

So now the question is whether APR does data logging as well as removing CELs and eliminating cold start like M engineering can. Right now I find that M Engineering's tune, while more expensive, offers more...?

I think it is unfair for you to ask this question.

They both are contributors on this Forum and no reason to pit one against the other when you have so eloquently pointed out some differences

^ That's your opinion.

There is nothing wrong with comparing various products. If you don't like to do that then you don't have to participate.

But many of us here get ideas about what products to buy from this forum, and that open discussion allows us to make the decision that suits us. Being a sponsor of this website does not preclude any company from having their products reviewed and compared critically. They can handle it.

If I still had my 992 and wanted a tune, I would get M engineering hands down.

are you still running the stock tune and if so any code issues so far? I've read the 200 CEL high flow cats are causing some code issues on the 992s.

does M Engineering warranty cars with sport cats? Confused why that’s a perceived disadvantage. I have the soul sport cats and have a cel, but haven’t had time to install the o2 spacers. If installing them still yields the cel, my decision is that much easier.

^ No, my point is that APR offers to take over manufacturer’s warranty with their tune, nobody else is offering that.

So that gives them a huge advantage.

However, they won’t offer it if you have a catted downpipe (like sport cats), but they will if you have a catback exhaust but haven’t touched the emissions device.

That being the case, I have sport cats (and will soon have a whole new exhaust) so M Engineering is a better fit for me than APR because they offer so much more, and I threaten my warranty either way
