3 weeks! My lock date count started at 92 days (was wanting a spring delivery) and officially locks tomorrow. I think I've checked TYD 5x/ day hoping the lock date would change (it accelerated 3 weeks).

I started in late October waiting for the days to pass. Its no fun waiting, but it is a nice feeling to see a pic of the car. Keeps the excitement up when you still have another 50+ days to go before you can drive it.

Waiting on my Guards Red Carrera S Cab with MT
So excited to announce I have a brand new 2021 Carrera S Cab on order. Took a while to decide on the Build. Wanted an S so I could get a MT. Wanted a Cab because can't open the top on a coupe (even though I love the looks of the coupe). Color was not too difficult. Always wanted Guards Red. Got the Sport Design Front only. Not too many bells and whistles. Sport exhaust as was told that's a must have. Changed my order before the freeze to include full black leather with chalk stitching. Here 's my Build Code: PMU5ZBG1.
Going into production on 2/5/21; to arrive at dealership on 4/9/21. Long wait yet but here in Ohio the winters are not friendly to driving beautiful cars. Question: I have read there are cameras in the Porsche factory so you can see your car being built? But I have not found a single post on this list to verify this. Any info would be appreciated. This is my first brand new 911. We have a 996 now and had a 997 turbo traded in on this new order. So excited!!

^ From one guards red cab S owner to another (future one), congrats on your new order! It's a beauty. Red is just such a natural color for a sports car, although many have also argued that it's a cop magnet. So be careful!
