I finally got TYD yesterday. Still no pictures... However, this morning, it says on Vessel tomorrow, 10/2, and arrival at Porsche Center in NJ on 10/16.... Is that possible? My SA said I will get the car about end of Oct or early Nov.

Certainly doable, my car got on a ship 9/4 and arrived in Rhode Island 9/15. Then if the EPA/Fed issues are resolved I think they are usually on the way to the dealer within a day or two. So your time table makes total sense. Let's just hope the cars have been released from jail by then!

This epa issue is anyone's guess. Its obvious the dealers are in the dark. At this point, we just need to take it day by day. 10/16 is very possible IF the epa block is cleared.

@gohawks23 That is correct on both accounts. The entire process is very tight knit........For them. Not for us, unfortunately. Patience is the word of the day when it comes to dealing with anything Porsche on a new order.

Im not sure? Vessel trackers seem to show it's supposed to be in Baltimore today...but who knows? Guess it doesn't matter if EPA issues aren't resolved

Correct...I wanted a manual thus needed to wait for my dealer to find an allocation for a Carrera S or 4S car. They were given an allocation for production for a base car but since I needed/wanted an S they were [luckily for me] able to find an open S allocation at another dealer and trade for it. It closed within a week of me getting it so didn't have much time to go back and forth on my options but had already done that and know what I wanted. But yes you need to know they do have an allocation to give from Porsche AG and PCNA and then if so you get a commission number that goes with your order. That is key and the golden ticket that you DO indeed have a car to be produced by Porsche. Some dealers do offer cars but no allocation thus no commission # so be sure to check on that. TYD then comes from PCNA but is very inconsistent and it based on your MyPorsche profile. My TYD email came almost 2 mos after my order and after 2 emails to PCNA to get it straight so persistence does pay off. Good luck!
