Sitting in Port with an updated delivery to dealer notice due on the 28th vs. 24th (expected). To those who are in the know, any advantage/disadvantage for picking up this calendar year vs. '24? Very excited to "join the club." Merry Christmas everyone!

Don’t get your hopes up. I have watched this process unfold far too often. There are far too many variables… One thing is certain our cars are going be delayed arriving at our dealerships and it is certainly to be expected with the holidays. Trust me when I state that we do not want this process hurried.
Edit: Note that SIEM Confucius ETA was this morning at 0900 (9am). Technically it still has not arrived because it is not berthed in port.

Not sure about the car itself but I'm going to sell some Tesla stock I have so I'll wait until 2024 to sell so I can pay the taxes in 2025 🤣

Or… post Christmas. FYI, there is a LNG tanker nearby in the offshore designated anchor area and it has been there for several hours. I suspect it is possible that they are refilling SIEM CONFUCIUS. After all, it was at sea approximately 3-4 plus days longer than it was scheduled to be.
