Thought to myself GT silver was beautiful but would blend into the crowd too much. Then I thought I wanted to change to Aventurine Green last night (first few test drives were in AG), then had a change of mind this morning after watching the Porsche "Heist" and bad boys 3 intro with the GB 992 again....I have come full circle. Are all P owners this OCD? if so count me in lol

Only other change was opting for Bose Surround that I recently added based on comments from the RL friends .

This will be my first P car, very excited. I was able to realize this dream earlier than I anticipated, so I am very blessed and grateful.
I'd make sure you really like the wheels or upgrade...and if you don't at least get the colored Porsche center caps to break up all the bright silver...will make those wheels pop a bit more...only $190.

190 bucks is Porsche equivalent of FREE

For another 290 consider Porsche headrest crests too...they are really nice touch.

Also, I think he should get a heated steering wheel almost regardless of where he lives! $280

Cmon, these are all small expenses that make the car and don't cost much.

Checked the heated steering, a no brainer for where I live, I'll still pass on the toothpaste...

Does anyone know about how long it actually takes for our cars to get from Emden to Jacksonville on the water?

40 days to dealer means probably you just missed the boat...

That's okay. It was not scheduled to leave the port yet. I am just trying to figure how realistic the 40 days might be based on how long it takes to get from Emden to Jacksonville.

IR assistant is garbage unless you just like gizmos but from what I've heard its not great unless you are driving in the wilderness and has problems with image at speed...aka by the time you clearly see hey that's a deer it may be too late. Don't know many who've gotten what in their builds..at least in 992. Still seems to be a rare unicorn sighting. Now everyone seems to want Rear end steer and PTV and a few others but for me....more things to break out of warranty and I'll just stick with my own driving skills to be great! LOL.

But yes you will reconfigure and then repeat and rinse....I ended up with a spreadsheet with like 6 different options and colors detailed down by price! LOL. My SA was impressed as I knew as much and more about each option, what it did and why I did or did not want it than he did when we went into the order configurator online to build my car for allocation! Took one time to input and the only thing I ended up changing/adding was power folding mirrors and the CF mirror option I think.

Yes I have Chalk and stayed with it...last 3 Porsches were Gray (Atlas then Agate Gray) so wanted a change. Thought about GT Silver and Racing Yellow or Lava Orange and my daughter liked Python Green but significant other shot those down esp Lava Orange which she felt only worked here and someplace sunny and was too attention getting. Had Speed Yellow in a 987 so understood that...I could NEVER hide in that car! LOL Don't do blues or reds really but if I did Night blue OR Carmine Red would be the choice I'd go with and you can't go wrong there. The Taycan comes in a deep red/burgundy that I built that reminds me of my 1st Porsche which was Arena Red and was awesome! I too initially was all in on Aventurine Green but when I looked at it over time just seemed too how do I say it blah to me...didn't pop but blended too much from a green standpoint. Striking but just seemed too gray-green for me and couldn't tell which one it wanted to be! Black are nice but so hard to keep clean. Dolemite Silver nice but too blue-ish. So I kinda stayed with Chalk as each time I saw it I just thought it was stunning and it caught my eye...not white but can seem that way in super direct lighting (noticed though they eye will easily pickup the difference if it is beside a true white car which shows the contrasts) and under clouds or at night the gray really pops and shows. Also I think the Chalk 911 take rate is so low that I don't worry about seeing it everywhere....in fact I have there is only one other chalk 911 where I live (a 991.2 GTS) so other than the two of us we'll never see another twin unless someone buys/orders one! Kinda nice....

As for the rest...Bose stereo was a good choice. I did find watching Nick Murray's 992 Options videos part 1 and part 2 did at least give me a better understanding of what all is available and why I may or may not want to consider it along with watching a whole lot of 992 review videos! GL

My chalk 992 tint day!
