Interestingly enough, my start production date moved up a week earlier, yet my delivery date got pushed back a week later? What a whirlwind of an experience.

TYD showing it needs 20 days from start production until CP8?

My C2 has been at "start production" for 28 days and counting...

It has been all over the map as far as production times...some cars in and out in 3-5 days, others longer. Mine was in production for 3 months.

I got a notification today that photos are available of my car. However, I do not see the completed side profile shot that so many have posted previously. Do we know why that is the case? Do I just need to wait longer?

FWIW I have a Spyder that has been sitting in Emden for about a month now. I never got the side shot showing the car complete, only 2 photos of the car being built. My SA said it's a bit random, some people get none, others get 2 or 3.

Default fantastic colors

Sorry did you say March 2024?

The spec is incredible. Well done, but I imagine you'll be looking at those pics for a while. My order was confirmed as a 23' locked in April. My car has been "in production" since September, current completion date is 1/6/23. I guesstimate it will be produced by Feb/March.

But you can't argue - its worth the wait.

Good luck.
Happy holidays

My GT3 Touring left Emden around Thanksgiving, came out of the Panama Canal on Sunday and is on its way up the Pacific Ocean to San Diego and then Benicia.
But I never got the completed side profile shot that you are talking about.

Unfortunately, I have heard from a guy awaiting delivery of his GT4RS that's been stuck at the Port of Benicia for the last 2 weeks that there are roughly 1,000 cars at the Port,
with quality control issues; mostly Taycans.

Talking

I started production on 11/18 and scheduled to be completed 6 days later. My car shows done in 3 days. LOL No way. Other builds for my dealer that started the same day finished on time. I bet it never started on the 18th and Porsche is waiting for high gloss Aero, Carbon wheel and interior. It has to be all the options I added. I'm betting I slide again at least 2 weeks if not 4. Fingers crossed the car hits the boat late Feb 2023. The TYD app should blank out again for 12 hours and load the new delays!

Interesting. I also ordered the aerokit in high gloss black, some carbon in the interior, BOSE, MT, etc. It could be the combination. But it seems some of these cars hit the assembly line when scheduled, but then they're parked and sit until the parts come in. It would be interesting to know if that's really the case.

My car just arrived to the Port of Emden and is scheduled to be on the ship in 3 days on Friday. Estimated arrival at the Rhode Island port is December 30. Anyone else going to be on the same boat?

Mine did the same thing...the side profile picture was buried in the website...you will need to perform the hack to see all of the production pictures.

Does this photo answer your question? LOL. Car went into production 8/24, metadata on the photo says it was taken 8/31. My car stayed "in production" until 12/5. My car is an Aerokit car...notice anything missing?

It does. And your car/post was exactly what I was thinking of. When I toured the factory back in Mid Oct (my original 2nd proposed ED date (EDIT)), they confirmed that the factory was running 3 shifts during the week (effectively 24hrs/day) and that it takes roughly 4-5 days to produce a car, start to finish, the painting process being the biggest obstacle. In my case, my car was supposed to be a MY22 and was originally scheduled for production in June. It's been repeatedly pushed back and I just assumed if they were pushing it back, it's because they were waiting for parts. It doesn't quite make sense to delay production 5 times only to have it mostly built and then just sitting around. And the fact that your car was sitting for over 3 months makes me think that it's just not organized all that well. I'm sure there's a lot we don't know. But I'm guessing if we found out the whole truth, we'd probably be rather disappointed.

LOL! Nice Aero kit!!! Add the high gloss wheels and skirt and you just delayed the build another 30 days. OMG My car maybe a 2024 at this rate. People actually wonder why I would sell it.

Do you know that gloss wheels and skirts are out of inventory, or are you just speculating? Mine has those items and it looks like my car has not started yet (original production start date according to TYD was 12/9/2022).
