Magnesium roof, Carbon fenders, doors, a little more power and the suspension from the .2. Possibly also rear active aero for the diffuser to compensate for lack of wing.
Its a Heritage GT3.

Heard that this will still happen, a GT3RS touring as paradoxical as that sounds. They have decided on the name for certain but it's in the pipeline. No idea on timing but I'd guess not till late next year. Again just a guess given all else going on.

My speculation on this model woud be the following.
- very similar concept as the 991 R
- very limited production (1.970 cars max)
- pricing substantially higher than Sport Classic ... because they can ... likely around 350k Euros in Europe
Potentially an exclusive version of the 992.1 RS engine with a small bump in power ... that will then find its way into the 992.2 RS (like the 991 Speedster engine was carried over to the 992 GT3).
Probably they will offer the single mass flywheel, again as they did on the R.
I would assume they need to homologate before EURO 7 norm gets into effect in Europe on July 2025.

As I wrote, it was only speculation on my part based on the marketing need to differentiate the ST from the Touring as the R is.
On the other hand if the ST will not have the SMFW, then the R remains an unicum among the 991/992 platforms models.

My bad, I did not hear this particular interview with AP: thank you for pointing it out.

I am struggling to see how the ST as descibed above justifies a huge amount over a high spec touring. My touring has a 6 speed, an exclusive interior in crayon and the mule pics of the ST look just like a 992 touring to my eyes with a space for a heritage badge on the rear.
I hope I am missing something.
Waat would be amazing and I know this is an unrealistic wish list:
- Rear seats as an option
- A road focused suspension comfy on the street like the 991 touring
- 50 to 100hp more than a 992 touring
- significant weight savings over a touring without removing too much sound deadening (this is my biggest gripe about the 992 touring)
- titanium exhaust
- duck tail and other amazing styling

We’ve yet to see the final spec, but exclusivity has a bunch to do with it. BMW announced a low production model of its 4 serious today for 7 figure$ as an example:

The ST doesn't need much deviation from the RS for people to lose their minds over it. RS power output, a little cosmetic work, and low vol is more than enough. The RS is close to 300k with some key options and we'll north for those willing to pay adm. MSRP could easily start with a 3 for the ST if they just replace the wing with a ducktail and only make 1k. If they feel generous, they could add MT option.
